It's Monday yet again

Oh why does Monday have to come so quickly???    It will be a very long Monday at that  here I'm sure.   We were up most of the night with Sadie.   I noticed just before bed that she felt warm....took her temp and it was at 101.   At 1am it was 103 even after having had tylenol.   Went to give her ibuprofen and noticed it was expired.   Gave her more tylenol....she slept restless until 3am.   Got up and the fever was still 103.   Changed her into lighter weight pajamas and wiped her down with a cool washcloth.   She then laid on the couch with daddy.   I went to bed for another hr til the alarm went off at 4:30.   I made a quick run to Walgreens before I started work at 5 and got ibuprofen.   Got back home and they both were sound asleep in our bed.   I haven't woken them back up yet.  Hopefully they will both sleep for a while.  Daddy is going to stay home with her today.  This came on so quickly for her.   Although we should've known something was up I guess when she didn't eat much of anything all day yesterday.   She adn daddy went to the park to play while I did some housework yesterday evening and he said she wanted to go home because she was so tired.   They laid together on the couch and watched Toy Story.   Not Sadie at all...she never lays still for a whole movie.  

We had a great weekend before all the sickness though.   Had a fun game night at church Fri night, saw the Squeakuel movie Sat morning, did a bit of shopping and had lunch Sat afternoon, got grocery shopping done so we'd have relaxing time on Sun.   Yesterday we went to church....had lunch with my sister and her husband on their way through town and then got a lot of household chores done.   Relaxed in bed watching tv for a bit last night too.  

No plans for tonight thankfully since we won't be going anywhere.   I'm supposed to try to work a 12.5 hr day but we'll see how far that gets with such little sleep.

How was your weekend?   Jamie, any signs of spring for you yet?  I'm hoping your temps are at least above zero now.

Oh no, I hope Sadie feels better quickly.  Sounds like you did enjoy the weekend though.

We had a great one here.  Did some yard work, house work, great cooking, relaxing, etc.  Today is my Monday off from work so I am trying to be lazy.  Got our "son" here, one girlie home sick (I see a pattern here that needs to be addressed) and hubby home cause he is fixing the water heater, so much for time to mysel***** to get the oldest from school later & head to the eye dr., then we will be hitting the mall to start looking for prom dresses, darn upper classman boyfriend, lol.  I am really beginning I need a vacation from life for a few days, not sure when I can get it or how but thinking I need it.
