TGIF!!!

Yayyy it's Friday!   It's been a long week.   I could so use a week of not working any overtime.  Haven't heard if we have to next week yet.   Had a good day yesterday.   The weather was beautiful so Sadie, the dog, and I were out in the yard after work.   Sadie loves to shovel so she was shoveling away what we have that's not melted yet.  I got some ice chopped away and the dog jus****ched LOL.   I had to run to Target to get a few things but otherwise we just did a little housework and watched the Olympics.  Tonight we have to pack to go to dh's aunt and uncle's tomorrow.   We thought about leaving tonight but I have nothing packed so it'd be a stretch to get it all done.  I'll get my grocery shopping done tonight before going this way as well.  Looking forward to just getting away from the house and the big kids.  Sadie of course will be coming with us.  That's all we have going on around here.  

Any big plans for the weekend?

No big plans here.  Maybe going to dinner one night out this weekend.  Other than that, just family time.  DH worked all of last weekend.... retail, gotta love it.  And, there is an archery shoot (It is usually the 3rd Sunday of the month in the winters) this Sunday, so DH requested that off... and he got is 'usual' Friday, Saturday off... so, that makes up for him having to work all last weekend with Valentine's.

I had kind of harped on him last winter & this winter that he needed to go to the archery shoots, because it was a hobby of his, and it was good for him to go & do his 'guy thing'.  I am happy that he has plans to go.

I too am sooo glad it is Friday!  The sun is shining again today & it is like 45 degrees, almost feels like summer, lol.

Not much planned here for the weekend.  No girlies so no craziness there.  Plan to go to my moms for a bit tomorrow to spend some time with her & have her highlight my hair.  Want to work on our taxes and see if I can get them done but afraid we might need an accountant as things are more complicated than normal this year.  Of course there is house cleaning to do, groceries to buy, etc.  Hope you all have a great one.
