Terrific Tuesday!

Good morning!   Yep, it's going to be a good one right??   Yesterday wasn't too bad....it was definitely Monday at work though.  Got my groceries boughten and some housework done.   DH asked me if I could make up a plate of cookies for his work party today.   I had plenty of cookies made to do this but decided to make some more silly me!!   I made a batch of hte cinnamon apple butter spritz and a batch of regular spritz.   Sadie helped and we had a great time.   She just loves making cookies.  Today is my 8 hrs of work...wow I'll be done at 2.   My sister in law's boyfriend is supposed to come rotate my tires for me.  After work I am running my oldest to Walmart for work shoes.   Then Sadie has school tonight.   After today all I have left to do is a bit of cleaning and then the prep work will start for dinner on Friday.

Well things have been craxy here.  We got 20+ inches of snow in our area over the weekend.  Biggest storm in December ever recorded.  Pretty much shut everything down.  So I was at home iwth teh teens & friends all weekend.  Made our Christmas cookies, finished up my wrapping, did some heavy duty cleaning at home, etc.  Actually ended up having a snow day from work yesterday so I was able to get a bit more done.  Still have a few last minute things to do, hoping to get them all done today/tonight.  I am only at work today & tomorrow then off til the 4th.  I am so looking forward to the break.  Have a great day!

OH Court that's quite a bit of snow for you!!  We can still see our grass a little....usually we have much more by now.   OH well it sounds like come Christmas Eve we will.  Storm is heading our way starting Thurs through Sat morning.   It all depends on what station you listen to whether we'll get hit bad or not LOL.   TV station I watched this morning said 3-5 inches for us....no big deal around here.   The radio station my friend listened to said at least 7-10 inches if not more LOL.   I guess all we can do is wait and see.   I hope we either don't get much or  it comes early enough so we can say we need to stay home Christmas Eve....I hate driving in snow.

Michelle... you are SUCH a GOOD wife!!!  You spoil your hubby!!!

Court.... I can relate to the snow.... shutting things down.... Granted, Alaska gets snow every winter, but, for that 3 days STRAIGHT last week.... we had LOTS of accumulation, right around 2 feet in that 3 days & the roads were dangerous, with all of the other drivers, and the blizzard-like conditions, reduced visibility and all of that!!!  Not to mention that I have a work vehicle to maintain during work hours so I had to try & keep my vehicle cleaned off to stay safe!!!  Then, it just got grueling, as I was getting tired, of having to clear off my work vehicle, and then, at the end of the day, go out & start up my car & do it all over again, as if I haven't done it all through out the day, you, I got tired.  But, I survived, and Hunter made a snow angel too!!  so, I tried to have a good time.

Tonight, I am making snickerdoodle cookies, we are having a cookie exchangehere at work tomorrow, so that should be lots of fun!!!  Hunter is looking foward to helping momma in the kitchen tonight!!
