Tuesday trials

Okay so things have been crazy here.  The hubby's ex has car issues & had to take her car to shop last night so we had to pick her up & take her home.  After we got all the way back home, the oldest calls, is at school function & ride bailed onher, have to go get her.  Today, hubby stayed home sick, I think he has my cold, and of course I get all the way in to work & the kids call, they overslept & need ride to school, mom still doesn't have car.  Still trying to get ahold of hubby, I couldn't go back due to meetings & office coverage.  Oh my what a crazy evening & day.  Perhaps it will get better.

So I am at work but the office is pretty bare, lots of people out sick & out in meetings.  Plan to run some errands either on my lunch break or after work.  Got to get a few things done.  How are things in your world?  Other than cold of course.  :)

Life is good here!!   A little less hectic last night at least.   Yesterday was 5 yr surgiversary for me!!  100lbs down still.   What an amazing 5 yrs it's been.   We have a friend who had lapband yesterday so we now share a day each yr to celebrate!  I spent a couple of hours with a friend ldear employee:ast night.   We went out for dinner just the 2 of us.  I then took my son to Walmart quick and headed home.   Read some books to Sadie and tucked her into bed. Momma was right behind her.   I'm still tired today though because she was up 3 times last night.   She's never up so I'm hoping she's not getting sick.  She's still sleeping this morning though so that's good.  Tonight is her school and DH has a meeting.  I need to work on my Xmas cards yet as well.   Geesh the time is just flying by.

No meetings at work today woohoo!!!!

Michelle, how is hubby doing with his lapband??  Been a while sis I have read an update on how he is doing with it & CONGRATS on 5 years, THAT ROCKS!!!!  WOO HOO!!!!!

I had forgotten yesterday, while I was at home Saturday night with an upset tummy, that DH took Hunter & they saw fieworks (then night after Santa... talk about an exciting weekend for a 3 year old!!!)
We have my family Christmas coming up on Saturday, we usually celebrate on Christmas day, bub my mom will be gone in Hawaii, so we wanted to all be together.  It is SNOWING, and snowing & snowing here.  It snowed yesterday as well, but really no accumulation, maye 3 inches, ALL DAY, and it snowed ALL DAY??  curious.
Anyways, we have over 6 inches today, just since last night & it is showing no signs of slowing down, it is definately accumulating today!!!  Making up for yesterday!!! we had 14 above this morning & yesterday, I think it was 13 above.  So, lots of shoveling, and plowing in my future, along with snowy roads to navigate all day!!!!

Morning ladies.  Good here!  I got my first paycheck from my promotion!  I am a happy girl today...:)
