Happy Monday!

Morning all.  How was your weekend?  Great here.  On top of all I posted about being scheduled we had a few add ons.  Ended up in the ER with my sis & nephew, he had a fever seizure and scared the snot out of all of us.  Luckily he is okay but we should expect to see it happen whenever he spikes a fever.  My sis had the same thing when she was little.  Goog thing is he should out grow it in a couple of years.  Also got to take a few of the litle ones home with me for dinner & visit time, then my sis came to get them & joined us for dinner along iwth her new boyfriend.  That was a lot of fun.  Not a sis I see a whole lot of so it was nice to get some quality time with them all.   We did get some of the shopping done.  Need to do a bunch more so that will probably be on schedule some for today.  Got to get some wrapping done too!  Hubby and I are both home today so we will be spending some quality time together!  Have a great one!

Okay that is scary!  We had a fun weekend.  We drove up to Eagle River to "check it out".   Took the dogs to the doggy park, argued about renting or buying, and took the kids to the DR.  Darn colds...However, my son got to see his first Moose and he thought that was awesome!  Can't wait for this weekend so I can send out my Christmas Boxes!

Friday evening was good.  We went back over to my work in Palmer, and had the kid's Christmas party. so, Hunter got to see Santa, sat on his lap, told Santa he wanted a toy gun, but got a different toy (Still a TOY!!!) did the cake walk.... went in and made a ornament for the tree at home.... went back in and did the cake RUN!!!  Had to burn off some energy, it was SO FUNNY to watch!!!  Pointed out his picture that he colored and turned in for the coloring contest.

All in all, Friday was GREAT!!!!

Saturday, I woke up feeling like ca-ca.  Luckily DH had the day off, so I could have a down day.  I took a nap, when Hunter took a nap, and felt a little better, until the dirrhea kicked in (yea!).

Sunday, I was feeling good, got caught up on my running & had a good day & evening.

YAY, now I am back to work for the week!!!  But, it is not below zero temp wise, like last week, at least.

I had such a busy weekend I'm exhausted today!   Fri after work we decided to go get our shopping done....yeah well someone else had other plans for us because the car wouldn't start.   A light was left on so instead we put the battery charger on and baked instead.   I made 3 more kinds of cookies/candies Fri night.....got done around midnight.   Sat morning we got up and went to a caroling thing at the nursing home....followed that up with a party at the Dr's house.  After that we headed to get a few things we needed then headed home to make a big pot of chili and baked 5 dozen gingerbread men for decorating on Sunday at church.  Got all that done and ended up running to Walmart to get something I forgot.    Got home changed clothes quick and headed out again.....met at a lounge downtown for appetizers and a drink with some ladies I know from church and then we went to a play.   We had a great time.   Got home from there around 9pm and finished baking the gingerbread men and transferred the chili into crock pots.  Got to bed again around midnight.   Alarm went off at 7 am....got up plugged my crock pots in...had a half hour to peek at the paper.   I made breakfast and woke the rest of the family up.   After that we all got ready and loaded the car and headed to church.   We had chili lunch and a cookie bake afterwards.   The guys stayed and watched the football game while we baked.  Took everyone home and the goodies.   I cleaned up my messy kitchen from the night before then made a baked pork chop dinner.   After dinner I finally got my grocery shopping accomplished.    Wow no wonder why I'm tired!!!    I crawled in bed around 10pm last night exhausted.  

Today is work then I'm taking the evening off and heading out for supper with a friend of mine.  If I don't get home too late it'll be a haircut for DH quick and hopefully to bed early.  

It's freezing here....cold snap coming through for the next few days....no different than last week LOL.   It snowed just about an inch last night.
