Wacky Wednesday

Oh my what a day already.  Got up and was not feeling well at all, sick to my stomach, still stuffy, coughing.  I know a lot of it is the cold, amount of meds I am taking, and the fact that I am alergic to our Christmas tree.  Guess I better get used to it as I will probalby feel this way for the next few weeks.  Lots of rain here last night, almost stayed home as 2 of the 3 ways out of my neighborhood were flooded with high water, of course the 3rd was okay.  Sun is out now & will hopefully dry things up.  Enjoyed a lazy evening at home, watched tv with the hubby & went to bed early.  Will probalby do much the same tonight.

Welcome back Heather!

Morning everyone!  I had a good evening last night.  Had dinner and relaxed a bit then took DH and Sadie over and dropped them off at a hockey game.   I decided to go shopping for stocking stuffers and a sweater or something for myself to wear for Christmas.   Got the stocking stuffers but didn't find anything I liked.   Oh well got me out of the house all by myself at least.  We got a little snow...not even enough to cover the grass when I was up at 6 am.   I'm sure it's covered now...it's still snowing and is supposed to pretty much all day.   The wind is the terrible part right now...it woke me up several times last night blowing so hard.  I think I'll stay inside all day today.   This is my supposed day off but I plan to work 8 hrs of overtime and then hopefully bake some cookies tonight.  I still have lots to do before Christmas and starting to run out of time.  I'm debating on dropping Luke and Sadie off at church tomorrow night and skipping it myself to come home and get some more things done while it's quiet....sooo tempting.  I do have Sat afternoon and evening free as of right now.  We're going caroling at the nursing home with some of the Drs and other staff from the hospital...then to my Dr's house for a little party afterwards.   I need to actually cook a few more meals so I can put things in containers in the freezer for Grandma's Christmas present LOL.   It's been a lot of quick easy meals lately for us. 

Court, I hope you are feeling better soon!   Jamie and Heather...hopefully you're not freezing to death up there.   It's pretty cold here today too....actual temp was 3 degrees but the wind is terrible so I'm sure the windchill is much worse.

Morning Ladies!  It is 7 degrees here today, but it is a DRY cold so it feels like 10. hahahaha.. I love that!  Anyway, things are good.  I am with you Michelle tons to do before Christmas and seeing as we aren't even in our "own" place yet this is really hard.  I have wrapping to do, more shopping, cookies, etc.  But, whatever this is supposed to be a fun time of year!! Yeah right!

Anyway, good to know y'all are doing well.  Big Hugs!  It is so good to be back here!
