I love the fact that the work week is starting and it's Tuesday not Monday!   We had an awesome long weekend.  I was sitting last night thinking of what all we did and couldn't even remember Fri or Sat had to ask DH LOL.   That's because we spent a lot of that time cleaning, grocery shopping, and cooking.   We did manage to spend time outside Sat...some of the time was mowing lawn and weedeating but oh well it was outside and the weather was gorgeous all weekend.   We took Sadie and the dog to play tennis Sat night as well.   We all had a great time.  Sunday we hosted the family bbq.  It was a big success and a great time.  My husband's aunt and uncle who just moved back to MN from NE were here.   I love those two.   So excited to have them close enough to see once in a while now.  We played lawn games and jus****ched Sadie entertain us.   After most people left my sister in law and her fiance stayed and we planed Disney Scene IT.   After they left DH, my son, and I played some more games until about midnight.    It was lots of fun doing that together for a change.  My oldest sister left her hubby on Sun and has parked a lot of her belongings in one of our garages until she finds an apt.   Yesterday we got up and headed the 20 miles to the small town my mother in law lives in.   We took Sadie to the parade.   She loved it!   Chasing all that candy was great fun LOL.   We spent a little time there visiting grandma afterwards.   We stopped then for lunch at the old fashioned hamburger place...it closes for the fall and winter....for one last burger of the summer.   DH's aunt and uncle...same ones that just moved from NE....happened to be there as well.   We sat and had lunch with them.   It was a lot of fun.   We started planning a weekend next month to go visit them.  My son took Sadie for a bike ride last night while DH and I got laundry folded.   We spent the evening as just the 4 of us relaxing.   What a great weekend!!

I hope you all had a great one too!

Definitely sounds like you had a marvelous time.  Had a great weekend myself.  Worked on painting the girlies bathroom on Friday & Saturday, then decided to do the masterbath also so worked on that Sunday.  Took my time and did things at my own pace, took time for other things too.  Fixed a special dinner on Friday, hit the first football game of the season at the highschool, Saturday night was dinner and some errands with hubby, Sunday we did end up with some plumbing problems after trying to put the girlies bath back together so we got that fixed & ended up ordering dinner in.  Monday we did the finishing touches on the bathrooms, went out for lunch & a movie, the grocery store and then home for a wonderful meal cooked by my brother in law.  I was so not ready to get up for work today.  Not much planned for today, quiet in the office so hopefully I will get a lot done.  Supposed to have soccer and football tonight but it yucky rainy so we shall see what happens.

Have a great day!!!!

Sounds like you girls had a good weekend, that is GREAT!!!

I did get lots of relaxatiobtime in, myself... but, yesterday, I did "crack the whip" .... IT HAD TO BE DONE!!!

That shed of ours, was a "dumping ground" and needed to be addresseed.... BADLY.  So, I went in there, & straightened things out, so that there were "dedicated spaces"
Then, I let DH knoe -- In no uncertin terms -- that, since thre rest of the pile of boxes were his, that had not been touched for the most part, since we moved over a year and a hla*****hat his CHOR was to go through those little bit of boxes that were left, and:
a) find a "home" for the items to live.... ORGANIZED"
b) sort through them/separate the keep from the YARD SALE pile

**I mean, come on, winter, and snow ill be on the ground in 6 weeks... NO JOKE, ""Time for him to get that project done & over with.**  I had 3/4 of the rest all moved around, so he had (floorspace) ... LOTS OF IT, to sort, and organize a bit.

{I made a point of re-arranging so much in that shed, so that he could that}

((((####****** Cause come winter, I may as well through up my hands & FORGET ABOUT the shed until spring********####)))))

So, my labor day went it to a project with my heart and hands.  And, I know, when DH gets his (maximum 15 boxes... nothing organized... just a bunch of mish-mash, odds & ends to stuff) boxes in the shed gone through, HE will have a happier winter, without the """"project"""" that he **never** got around to doing.... all done... he will know what is oout there & how to walk in there & get whatever he needs to get.

Why, girls, do you ask.... are we building on another yard sale?  Why, yes, WE ARE!!!!
Probably not next spring, maybe the folloing spring.....

Yup, I took the word LABOR, very serious!!!!
