We're halfway there!

Thankfully we're at that halfway mark again!   I have just 9 more hours to work today LOL.   I'm trying to do another 11 hr day so I can work only 8 on Friday and be done at 2.   I did get 11 in yesterday.  That would then mean I only do 10 tomorrow.  We have nothing going on tonight that I can think of so I should be able to do it.   Next week is yet another week of mandatory OT...Uggghhhh    I don't mind doing some but I hate it when they make it mandatory and slap on even more hours then normal.  We've been on mandatory for over a month now.    Next week is a busy week for me too so it'll prove interesting.

We had a good day yesterday.  I did get to sneak in a nap.  I worked 9 hrs took an hour nap...got supper started...worked another 2 hrs while my hubby and son managed to then burn the dinner I had cooking.  We had a softball game at 9pm last night so didn't get to bed until about 11pm.   Coffee is my friend this morning and I very very very rarely drink coffee.

It looks like our trip out of town this weekend is going to be put on hold for now.   Gotta get the car fixed or at least figure out what is wrong before we take it anywhere.  Oh well I don't mind so much.   My son has been talked into babysitting Fri night so DH and I can get away...problem is figuring out what to  do.   His idea of something we should do is always much different than mine.  By the end of this crazy week I'd probably much rather sleep LOL.  He gets upset with me because I have such few interests and don't really go out much...I don'****ch tv or movies much, don't get a big thrill out of going to sporting events like he does etc...   Well, if he was as busy as me he'd enjoy just sitting home and doing nothing too LOL.   Of course I do look forward to spending time together and getting away without Sadie...it just proves interesting to figure out what we'll do.  If the weather is good there's always walking by the lake and relaxing there.   They have cool bikes to rent down there too...we did it last yr once and loved it!    If we don't go it means I'll probably get to relax some at least.  Soooo maybe it's a very very good thing LOL.  Maybe I'll get to go over to check out the Extreme Home Makeover.   Maybe he'll go with me Friday night even.   They haven't opened it up for spectators yet....they removed the septic system yesterday and were going to demolish the house last night.  I did flex my time on Monday to go over to be there when they move the bus and reveal the home.   Only thing is if we have 10 hrs OT I might decide not to go....I'm thinking of begging myself out of the 10 hrs and just doing 5.

Well, it's off to work away and try to sneak in a nap again today.   Have a good one!

Good Morning!!!  Michelle, you are crazy busy!  A date, even a relaxing one sounds great.  If the weather is good you could always do a relaxing picnic at the lake.  A blanket, some yummy treats, a blanket & hubby.

My Tuesday was pretty good.  Got through work, got home and pretty much did nothing.  We all hung out on the porch as we were fixing dinner, after dinner & clean up we sat to watch some tv together.  Then it was in to the bed.  Today is work, a friend coming over this evening to hang out and that is about it.  I do have a message into my surgeon's office to check on some abdominal pain I have been having for a little over a month.  I think it might be a hernia.  Of course the PA is out of town this week.  I should probably follow up with someone else but I really am comfortable with her and since I have dealt with it for this long, what is another 5 days.  Oh well.

Have a great day!!!

Last night was a lazy night, just hung out together and relaxed.  (DH's Friday had finally caught up with him..... imagaine that??!!)
Started raining last night, and is still raining today.  We need it to water the lawns, and there are some pretty good sized fires burning up north, so, hoefully, that will help them, with the much needed moisture.  The rain is keeping the smoke down around here, too.
Not too sure what we have planned for tonight, I know we need to get in some grocery shopping, but other than that, just some rainy after work activities with Hunter.

Have a good afternoon, ladies!!!!
