Happy Hump Day!!
I am dragging a bit today. Busy weekend and then two nights up watching tv when I should have been in bed are not working for me. Tonight will need to be an early night. Nothing really planned tonight, I did not get anything done that I wanted to do last night so perhaps I will try again tonight.
Having some teenager issues as we all adjust to a new lifestyle. We are trying to establish our boundaries, rules, etc. and facing a bit of oposition. It is a learning process for all of us as we have never lived in their home area (near the friends, boyfriends, etc) or so close to them (they want to come over all the time) before and part of it is just the age factor as they are growing up and want/need more freedom. My poor husband is suddenly realizing having two teenage girls is not as easy as he thought it would be.
Have a great day!!
Happy Hump Day! Ohhh Court I've been in your shoes...teenage girls are not easy by any means. I've had one girl and one boy and let me tell you my boy is 100% easier than my daughter was. So much less drama, hormones, etc... Hopefully you can all ease into a new routine and rules fairly quickly.
I had a pretty good day yesterday. Worked, took hubby to the eye dr, went shopping while he was there, came home and worked a bit more. We then headed off to church softball where usually I sit and cheer. Well, last night they needed me to play so I played catcher. I actually had fun. I even hit the ball once...didn't make it to base but hey at least I made contact. I walked the other time and then had to worry that the guy behind me would run so fast he'd pass me LOL.
This afternoon is Sadie's last dance class of this session. We should find out if she can go on to the "big girl" dance class or stay in the mommy and me class. She really wants to be in the big girl class LOL. I have a meeting at church at 7 tonight. Usually they go quite long so we'll see if I get anything else done. I took tomorrow off for a mental health day...which amounts to a day of getting the house cleaned. I'm also making dinner for church tomorrow night.
Hope you ladies have a great day!
Michelle, that is neat that Sadie might be getting to go to the "big girl" dance class!!! She is growing too fast!!!!! Hope your mental health day tomorrow gives you time for a "Brain Break" in between cleaning chores!!!!!
Tonight, we are going to go to the U-Pick farm & get some family time, getiing dirty & getiing lettuce, potatoes, and such!!!!
Have a GREAT day!!!
