Happy Tuesday!
Well, Monday is over yet again. Actually it wasn't a bad Monday either. We had a pretty good day...worked, went with Sadie to dance class, came home , worked some more, made dinner, took hubby over to WI to pick up his pool cue, and went to bed. Today I'm working 7 hrs and will be done at 1pm to take hubby to the eye Dr. While he's there I'm going to multi-task and run to the grocery store and Sam's club to get a few things. Then I have to come back and work another hour or more. We have a softball game at 6pm though.
We are struggling with Sadie going through some really bad seperation anxiety again. We are pretty sure it all comes back to the day DH had surgery and she woke up to grandma being here and mom and dad being gone. Mind you she doesn't see grandma real often so it was probably a big shock. She won't even go into the nursery at church again. I tried again on Sunday but she screamed. I felt bad for the girl that was in there and went back to get her. It's tough but we'll get through it yet again. I told her yesterday if she wants to go to the big girl dance class she can't cry for mommy LOL. She loves watching the big girls and wants to do it. Sept is when she'll move into that we believe. One good thing is I can stand outside the window and she can still tell I'm right there.
Any big plans on your plates for today? I need to live through someone!!
Good Morning! Sounds like had a pretty good Monday. Mine was okay. Part of me wishes I had more time to chill out yesterday, part of me wishes I had gotten more done around the house. Guess I just can't be satisfied. LOL.
Michelle, I hope you all able to get Sadie settled down. I have a nephew that has a difficult time with seperation, even when he is going with other family members that we know he is secure with. It is so difficult sometimes.
Not much planned for today. Work of course, then home to tackle more stuff around the house. I do have some specific goals in mind for this evening so hopefully I can get it all acomplished. Have a great one!!
Court, sounds like you are getting settled in a little more every week, good for you!!! Isn't it AWSOME to have everyone over, and be a ble to have pride in your house!!?? Ya, I agree with the lots of work, but it sure is rewarding!!!
DH is on his way to the airport with his parents right now. I miss them already!!! I know that they are ready to go home, but they already miss the grand kids & wish that they lived closer to these 3 Hunter & DH's sister's 2 girls) up here in Alaska. They have 3 more (DH's older brother's kids) down in California, about 1/2 hour away.
Not too much planned for tonight. Since DH is going into work late, after going to the airport, he will be getting off of work late, so he will be home right around the time Hunter & I arrive home.
DH has plans to go down to Seward and go fishing Friday. His buddy is up from Colorado. He was one of our Best Men at our wedding. He used to live up here & has been frinds with DH for over 10 years. So, it will be good for thm to spend some "Man-Time" together.
I am all for that!!!!
Have a GREAT day, ladies!!!!
