FRIDAY!!!!!

7 more hours & I am on vacation!!!!  My in-laws made it up here late last night.  There was some sort of medical emergency with a passenger on the plane in Seattle, so they were delayed.
I am so looking foward to being able to go fishing, camping & have some time off to be a "tourist" up here in Alaska!!!

TGIF!   Glad your inlaws got there ok.    I'm sure you'll have lots of fun.    We have a block party to go to tonight....it's sponsored by all the local churches in our neighborhood.   There will be pony rides, face painting, carnival type games, firetruck, police dog, food, prizes, music....and lots more.   We went last yr and had a great time.   This yr our church is doing minnow races and temporary tattoos for the kids.   I'm in charge of the tattoos....hey I better hurry after work and get all my stuff together.   I have to be there by 4pm.    It ends at 8pm.....Christina DeLoach is the headliner at 7pm.....she's a chrisitan music artist...and is very good.    Tomorrow we're heading to Minneapolis with people from church for a MN Twins game and a Jars of Clay  (another christian group) concert afterwards.   There are 10 of us going in the church van.   It's faith night at the metrodome....my hubby will use any excuse to get everyone to go to a ballgame LOL.   Sunday we found out that Jeremy Riddle is playing here in town as well...another christian artist...not sure if we'll get to that one or not.   Sometime this weekend I need to get groceries LOL. 

DH is doing well from surgery and is now on pureed food but getting a little bored with it.  He has had some pain the last couple of days but the Dr thinks it's just slight constipation so hopefully that will be remedied soon.

I like Christian rock, I think it is good.  I am open minded about music   Ya, I can see where hubby would get bored with food, but I am sure he knows to "just keep his eyes on the prize" and stay focused.
