thursday greetings
Morning ladies. Jaime sounds like you have great plans with your in laws and will have a marvelous time.
We have busted our tails on the house. Getting lots of painting and yard work done. We have a bday party to go to tonight so we may just make it a low key night and take a break, get to bed early etc. I am off tomorrow so I will be out at the house working on things most of the day. Saturday is our big moving day. Not sure when I will get a chance to post again but I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
I'm having some major issues with my vitamin levels which leave me feeling totally exhausted. My iron and vitamin D are very very low and not sure how to get them back up again. I am barely functioning for work. On top of that we have mandatory OT too uggghhhh. Other than that things are going along as usual at our house. We went out and bought another tennis racket and DH and I went to play tennis last night...great exercise. Sadie came along and chased a ball around while we played. Once we finished playing we took a walk with her as well. Got all my laundry folded finally last night. I think I may head out this afternoon to find Sadie her new carseat....time for a booster seat. This weekend we're busy busy as usual. Friday night is the annual block party where all the churches in our area sponsor a block party for the neighborhood. Last yr there was a dunk tank, pony rides, climbing wall, fire truck, police dog, carnival games, hot dogs, ice cream, lots of prizes, etc.... Our church is doing minnow races and I'm in charge of temporary tatoos for the kids. Sadie has given her seal of approval on those...she has tried them out already. There's also music so our praise band will be playing for a while as well. Sat we're filling the church van with 10 of us and heading to Minneapolis to watch a twins game and a Jars of Clay concert. The concert is right after the game so if you buy your ticket to the game you get the concert as well. Should be fun. Sun will be church and housework as my sister is coming to visit next Wed. Whew I'm tired just looking at that.
Well, it's off to work for me. Have a good one everyone!
Michelle.............. Sorry to hear about your vitamin levels & exhaustion!!! Click on this link:

My only 2 thoughts are.... Are you taking "dry" vitamin D?? If it is oil based, we really do not absorb it, so we do not benefit.
And, as for the iron, not too sure what you are taking, but maybe an infusion? I don't know??
Well, anyways, not sure if you are familiar with this website or not, but.... I have met the lady that does this (Michelle Curan) and she had the RNY from Dr. Fox (who was my surgeon as well) and she is a WEALTH of information!!!!! She also posts on here... OH.
Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!!

I got the info about vitalady from someone on the MN board and have actually had contact with her this week. She gave me suggestions of what to do to fix the problems. I was taking a daily dry vit D but my monthly prescription one was oil based. I am getting some from her and going to do that for a while then get retested and see how that goes. I also talked to DH's dietician yesterday as well....she gave me ideas as well.
