Finally Friday!!
Morning! How are you? Things are good here. Work went well yesterday. Had the girlies last night and we did get a lot accomplished on backing in their room. Managed to squeeze in some family time outside and a nice walk for ice cream. Not much in store for tonight. I might do some more packing but that depends on if I can get some more boxes today or not. Perhaps I will just take the opportunity to spend some time with my hubby. Got some cleaning etc to do at work today. Tomorrow will be an afternoon get together with some fellow wls ladies and then a bday party for one of hubby's coworkers tomorrow night. Sunday will probably be a big trip to the thrift store for donations and some more packing.
I have to say you guys crack me up with your camping stories. I had a bad experience as a teen so I still don't really like camping. The closest I have come is to put the tent up in my dad's back yard a few times. It definitely isn't something big on my list to do.
Have a great day & a wonderful weekend.

TGIF!!!! 1 more week to go Court!! I bet you are getting so excited!
Camping stories.......I guess I do remember being bit by a spider as a little girl and having my leg swell up huge....was very close to having to go to the hospital but somehow my dad took care of it. Other than that I have no bad stories. We're going to set up the new tent tonight...Sadie is soooo excited. She wanted to buy new blankies and pillows to put in there....we had to tell her no we'll just put the ones we already have in there. She did get a new lifejacket last night though. We had a good evening at church last night. After 9 hrs of work today, Sadie and I are going to get grocery shopping done and hopefully put away before DH gets home so he doesnt' have to look at the food. He's doing so well with the liquid diet...I think better than I did. He's a little worried that the weekend will be harder as he won't have work to keep him busy. I told him no worries I have plenty to keep him busy LOL. Not a lot on the agenda other than getting stuff done around the house this weekend so we can head out next weekend. We are going to fit in a trip to see both her real grandpa and the adopted one to give them their father's day gifts since we'll be gone next weekend. We'll have church on Sun as well. Speaking of church my husband and I are taking on a pretty big project at our church. Our pastor had talked about starting up a MOPS group but we talked about it last night and decided that with the changing times it might be more beneficial to have a group for not just moms but all parents. So, my husband and I are in charge of trying to get this off the ground. I think we're going to start with once or twice a month on a Sat mornings. Not sure exactly what we'll do with this but we can do just about anything we want.
Well, my break is over I better get to work! Have a great weekend ladies!!

Definitely getting excited over here!!
So my story is more silly than anything. I was probably about 13 years old and forced to go on the family camping trip. I was quite the girly girl so getting dirty etc was not what I envisioned as fun. All of my syblings were younger than me so mom thought it would be cool to let me have the pup tent all to myself. Well it rained pretty bad during the night so she got up and tied the flaps together so they wouldn't blow open and get me all wet. When I woke up I couldn't get the wet knot undone, mom had left the campsite and I was hollering for her & she wasn't answering, finally got the flaps open enough to squeeze out of, was hopping mad and rushed out of the tent, only to find a mud puddle, fly through it and down I went. Made me even angrier, mom & step dad were laughing, as were other families we were with. My family still teases me to this day about it.

DH got the camper on the truck last night, so we will be that much further ahead after work today. Not sure yet, where we will go, but North it is.....
Hunter was SOOOOOO darn cute this morning.... He says to me "we gonna wake up in the camper and have breakfast?" And then a bit later, he says, "we gonna go nite nite in the camper?"
So, he totally looking foward to that!!!
DH got Sat & Sun off, so this is our 2nd camping trip this summer, and our first "full" weekend YAY!!!!!
Tuesday is our 2 year anniversary. Hard to believe, we had Hunter 3 years go, got married 2 years ago, and moved 1 year ago. Talk about doing almost all of "the big life changes" BAM, BAM, BAM.
Have a GREAT weekend, ladies!!!!
