Happy Half Way Day

Morning all!  Sounds like we are all having a pretty good week.  Yesterday went well and hubby and I enjoyed a quiet evening at home.  Probably the same on the list for today.  Still no house news although I did send out a frustrated email and expressed our discontent.  Not much in store for today.  Should be another quiet day.

Jaime, thanks for the complimentary words.  My oldest stepdaughter got me a beautiful mother's day card that expressed her appreciation for me being there and it was so touching.  As for that cat & the sand box, perhaps a cover will help.

Michelle, I am so jealous that everyone around you is moving.  I so want it to be me.  Sounds like you are getting things together though.  Enjoy the classes tonight.

Oh Court I sooo feel your frustration!!   I can't believe you still haven't heard anything.   Keep bugging them.   I think I made the banker very angry in our situation but I went above her head and that's when we finally started getting somewhere.    I agree with Jamie...what a great "MOM" you are to have been there when they needed you and to continue to be there for them.   They will always remember that as they grow older.   Glad you have gotten to enjoy some quiet time at home with hubby.

We had a good day yesterday.   Sadie loves her music class and school...too bad they are both about to be over for the summer.   Although we'll have lots to do to replace it.   DH is on a bocce ball league now and church softball starts soon which we all play.   My son starts his softball practice tomorrow evening.   I'll be busy as ever.   We're excited to start getting some baseball games in to watch as well.   We'll be heading to Minneapolis on Memorial day to enjoy a MN Twins game.   It's right before our anniversary so I think we might just turn it into an anniversary outing.   Sadie will either stay with her brother or my sister said she could come camping for a night with them.   I think I might just take her up on that offer and get us a hotel room.  She's never once stayed with anyone other than us yet.   Speaking of sisters...my oldest sister is in the hospital and has been for a couple of days.   She went in to the ER last week with chest pains and just very weak.   They didn't find anything sent her home thinking it was a pulled muscle in her chest.   She almost passed out at work again on Monday and is still having some chest discomfort.   So far they've found nothing but are keeping her to run some more tests.  I wish we lived closer...this is my sister that has 7 kids...4 of which are still at home and fairly young.   The youngest 3 are girls that she adopted...if it was summer I could take them for a week for her but they're still in school.   Maybe I'll make that offer anyway once school is out and give her a break.
Today I have no plans.  DH has a meeting tonight but Sadie and I will be home relaxing.   LOL I think I need it.   We stopped at a restaurant for dinner last night and Sadie was being a typical 2 yr old not sitting still etc...   She and I went to the bathroom and she kept trying to open the door on me.   I told her now stop it...she looked at me and said, "what's wrong with you? .....are you tired?"    LOL I think I must've been a bit short with her LOL.   I'm getting very excited for the weekend DH's aunt sent me a message about being here this weekend.   Can't wait to spend time with them.

Jamie,  we have 3 cats....2 of them until we moved here used to go outside and if we didn't have a cover on the sandbox would be right there with your cat...in fact we had a neighbor kid complain about them going in his sandbox LOL woops.   We're planning to build Sadie a sandbox here but will have to figure out some kind of cover.   The cats have yet to venture outside here but I'm sure they will.

Everyone have a great Wednesday!

The weather here is beautiful..... and I have been super busy today, as well.
Tonight, we are going to a high school graduation of my best friend's daughter.  I met the daughter when she was 3 months old.  So, I have known them for a long time!!!

I plan on enjoying this awsome, beautiful weather after Hunter & I get home this afternoon, and then get ready to go to the graduation ceremony.
DH has a booth for the local Friday Fling (kinda like a Saturday Market), so he has been extermely busy trying to get his woodcrafting stuff together.  He is also going to be selling some antler, zipper pulls.  I'll have to take pics & show you, they are too cool!!!  Just hard to explain.  Last night, he had finished one of the diplay boards to hang them on, and it is nice.

Pics to come.... (After Memorial Day weekend)
