Hello Tuesday

Morning all!  So my Monday went good.  Made it through work and came home for an evening with friends to watch the hockey playoffs.  The girlies were here last night in order to get some of their stuff together to take to their mom's.  They have moved and we are going back to a normal schedule.  So far everything seems to have gone okay and they seem pretty happy.  Nothing on the books for tonight and I am thinking to keep it that way.  I am feeling an early to bed night.

Michelle, so glad your kitty came out.  It is so typical with cats to freak with a move.  I remember when I was younger we had the same problem with one of ours when we moved.

Jaime, sounds like your camping trip was great.  A new location close to home will be wonderful for you guys.

We did have a message from the realtor yesterday that the approval papers were supposed to come through yesterday.  We never heard anything else so we are still waiting.  There are so many family things coming up in the next few months and I really wish we could just get an answer so I can start planning things.  Ugh!

Good Morning!   Glad your Monday went so well Court.   I hope everything continues to go well for the girls.   My Monday was good as well.   Work went pretty smoothly.   After work I got a lot accomplished.   I washed all of the windows and sills in the house.   Cleaned up and vacuumed the living room.   Dusted some stuff.   Unpacked a few boxes in the office and organized the closet in here.   Then I got dinner made before DH got home.   After he came home we ate real quick and he had his first night of Bocce Ball leagues.   Sadie and I went along but spent most of our time at the playground and no****ching daddy.  She is so funny...she doesn't want anything to do with the slide/swings etc....   She just wants to sit and dig in the dirt for hours.   I'm thinking I need to head back to the store and get her some more sand toys.   She is her momma's girl.   When I was a little girl I spent hours and hours in the sandbox at our pastor's house with his boys.    Today is a busy day but should be good.   Sadie has kindermusik class and ECFE class tonight.   I think we're going to pick daddy up from work in between the two and stop to get something for dinner.   I'm already excited for the weekend.   I really love my husband's dad's family.   They are so much like my own family and make me feel so much a part of them all and have since day one.   DH's grandma is moving from a house into an apt this weekend.   DH's aunt and uncle from the other side of the state are coming to town to help.   They are Sadie's godparents.  I'm so looking forward to spending some time with them all in the evening after the move.  I am thinking I'll call up and offer to make something for dinner since the guys will be soooo hungry after working all day.   They also have a granddaughter 1 yr younger than Sadie so it'll be fun to get the girls together again. 

Jamie I am jealous!!   I can't wait to go camping.   We don't have a camper though and it's a bit cold here to be tenting it yet.   We are actually thinking of getting a new tent for this yr.  I think we'll plan a weekend in June sometime to take Sadie camping.   My husband's family has land on a lake about 2 hrs from here so we can go camp anytime we want for free.   All we have to do is bring our food and gear.   DH can't wait to show Sadie how to fish this yr.  We might drive down there for a day on Memorial weekend just to visit.  Glad you found something close to home...maybe you'll be able to fit in an extra weekend or so this yr.

Court, it is good to hear that the girlies are doing so well.  I am happy for that, because it is hard when things are just in "upheval" and the emotions run high enough, just being where they are age-wise.  And then, all of the stress & emotions, with that situation!!!  So, BIG HUG to YOU, Court  for being there for them when they really, really NEEDED it!!!!  YOU ROCK!!!
And, here's to hoping for some house news, to move things along......


Michelle, girl, you amaze me with how busy you are!!!  And, Hunter is exactly like Sadie, digging in the sand!!!!  Glad to know you are settling in   How did your aunt handle know that you were moving out?  I am thinking she took the news very well, considering that you were going to be officially a homeowner!!!  Has she been able to have another renter get ready/move in?

On a "gross" note..... our cat.... ummmm..... has been..... ummmmm, well, he has discovered the sand box.  We'll leave the rest for your imigination.....  YUCK.  So, I have bee diligent about shooing him outta there.  Glad he's  litter trained & all, but, EEEWWWWWWWW.
Right now, we have a swimming pool with sand in it, courtsey of my sister, it 'appeared' one weekend last summer while were gone camping.  "we got broke into"  hee hee.  And there it was, a swimming pool full of sand!!!!! 

Going to be getting our "new to us" kitchen table tonight (I am officially in love with it!!)  I'll have pictures, after Hunter's b-day party.
