House Update

I'm sooo mad!!!   We are buying a house and were supposed to close on it last Fri.   We have been all packed up for a couple of weeks.   Last Wed we were told that we couldn't close on Fri because the bank was not finished with the final approval.   We were told that we should be able to close this Friday (tomorrow).   As of this morning....1 day before supposed closing......we nor our realtor or the closing company has heard anything from the banker all week.   We all tried calling and emailing yesterday.   No return calls or emails.   Her phone message says it will take her 2 days to return calls.   UMMMMM that's a bit too late honey!!   We are assuming we aren't closing again tomorrow.   The biggest part of this whole thing is with me working from home I need to give notice to have all of my phone and internet things switched to the new house.   We had it first set up to be connected this past Monday and had to change it....we thankfully decided not to change it until the 20th so we have a bit of time to go before I'd have to change it again.   We're supposed to be out of this house at the end of the month.    The banker didn't contact our realtor at all through all of this...he only heard from us what was going on.  He's not very happy either.    I am calling to talk to the branch manager this morning to see if there's anything we can do to get her to move things along.   We really need to get this closed on at the beginning of next week.   I have messed with my work schedule twice already now trying to be sure I'd have the time to close.   It's so frustrating.   We even had our mail fwded to the new address and had to go to the post office to stop that....well it didn't get stopped we've had no mail all week.   We're waiting to hear back from the realtor to see if the seller agreed to us going over to the house to get our mail.  
Ok I'm done ranting.   It does help just to get it all out.

I am now waiting on a call back from the bank manager.   I called and vented my frustrations.   She said our banker was not in yet but as soon as she was she would catch her and find out what's going on and call me back.   It's now 10:30am....man I want those hours!!

Good for you, for calling the manager!!!!  That banker needs a SLAP upside the head....... UMMMM, some communication would be, uh, nice????

I want to scream cry slap someone something!!!    I did finally get a call back from the manager...she said she caught the banker and asked if we were closing tomorrow.   She told her no....she said she would give me a call and still at almost noon has not called any of us.   The manager told me to give her until noon and if I still received no call then I can call her back.   I'm sooooo frustrated.

On a lighter note my sister just emailed me.   My 22 yr old niece is being taken in at 2:30 pm today for a c-section...she's expecting twin girls!!!   Now I really wish we could go for Easter!

Way to go, auntie!!!!!  How awsome is that??

Well, try & focus on the good news....... Hopefully, next week, you will have writer's cramp!!!!

Michelle, I feel your pain.  We just keep waiting for crappy people from the bank also.  Sending positive vibes/prayers your way.

I sure hope we both hear something soon.....this waiting is driving me nuts!!
