TGIF
I'm right there with you, Court!! Friday couldn't have come quick enough this week. I worked 2 hrs extra on Wed so I'm off at 11:30am today. I had an ok day after all the stress with the bank in the AM. After work I laid down for an hr then realizes Sadie's not taking a nap so we got up. She got a bath. I got some things done around the house while her hair dried. Then we decided to go out in the yard and clean up stuff the melting snow has left behind. Sadie had a blast. We had chinese for dinner then went to visit my MIL in the hospital. She had shoulder surgery yesterday..all went well and she was resting comfortably last night. Sadie brought her Strawberry Shortcake bandaids to make her owies feel better LOL. Jamie, sitting there at the hospitlal I started to wonder if Sadie had been talking to Hunter lately. I thought maybe they'd been talking about the eruptions in AK. She's looking out the window yelling there's a big volcano momma!! I thought what in the heck is she looking at? Secondly I didn't know she knew what a volcano was. There was a very tall smokestack out the window that had smoke coming out of it LOL. Still not sure where she learned about a volcano. When we left the hospital we walked past that smokestack and she got all excited because she got to touch it. When we got home from there I had an email with pictures of the new great nieces!! Now that made my night....what beautiful babies. There wasn't one of the two girls together though so I'll have to tell my sister I want to see one like that. They were born at 2:15pm yesterday.....Makayla Karen 6lbs 2oz... 18 1/2 inches and Madison Elizabeth 5lbs 6oz. 18 3/4 inches. I can't wait to see them when we go visit in a few weeks. My sister says they're perfect!
Well since I'm off early today Sadie and I are going to daddy's work. Man is that girl spoiled around that hospital. Daddy works at a very big hospital and everyone knows Sadie there. She's been ooohed and awwwed over since the day she was born there. We're going to have lunch there first and then after lunch she's bringing her pretty Easter dress, gloves, and hat to put on to parade around in. She has adopted family there as well...grandpa Jim has an Easter present for her, Gruncle Dan has one, Anne Marie has one, the ladies in admitting have one, and one of the ladies in the business office has one for her. I tell ya it's like Christmas all over again. Now tell me again why do I buy stuff for an Easter basket??? I'll be sure to take some pictures.
We're going to church Sun morning for Easter but other than that we really have no plans. We might go out to dinner somewhere but not sure yet. We will stop over at my father in law's house so Sadie can show grandma and grandpa her dress. Of course it's not grandma and grandpa's house....it'd grandpa and grandpa's house. LOL She calls her grandma but for some reason when she talks about the house it's grandpa and grandpa's. Too funny!
I hope you all have a wonderful Easter weekend!!
Sadie is so darn cute... the volcano!!! How funny is that?? It is neat that you let her touch the smokestack. Hunter always wants to go & touch things too. But sometimes, it might be a mountain, or something in the sky (like a plane). So, I have to tell him that I am not that tall, lol
Glad you got pics of your new niece's. That rocks!!!
I am looking foward to sleeping IN, tomorrow. My plan this weekend, is to start bringing in boxes, from the shed over to the garage for our up & coming yard sale, lat weekend of this month, or first weekend in May. I think we should have a Friday/Saturday yard sale. But, I know that I will have to work on the Friday, but we had mentioned this to Mark's aunt, and she has offered to help out on that day. But, my proud husband..... UUGGHHHH, men. He is thinking about a Saturday only sale. I am not 'sold' on that. He thinks that I should not ask for anymore time off. I have asked for a week off in July, 2 days off in June, and one day off in May. All for family visiting from the lower 48 & Hunter's B-day. His view, is to have me try & 'stay out of the spotlight', uner the 'radar' with all of the stuff on the job side. So, my view, is, alright... then have your aunt come over, she said she would pitch in, and also said she would bring over stuff to sell. Problem solved. Right?? You would think..... except, that a MAN is involved..... HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Here is to a great weekend & new for you both this up & coming week on your houses!!!!!
HAPPY EASTER

Sadie's had a wonderful Easter already and we haven't even had ours here at home yet LOL. She was spoiled rotten at daddy's work today. She got 2 dresses, a short outfit, a chocolate bunny, an m-n-m egg, 2 stuffed bunnies, a stuffed puppy, a new basket, a big chocolate sucker, bag of m-n-ms, a huge Easter balloon, a hand puppet washcloth, and some bathtub paints. LOL you'd think it was Christmas.
