Snowy Monday!!

Wow, we got a bunch last night.  Work is on a 2 hour delay so I got to sleep in a bit, getting ready to go clean off the car & get ready.

So how was your weekend?  Mine was pretty lazy.  Friday night we had dinner with some friends.  Saturday I hit the grocery store but that was it.  Was lazy all day.  Some of our boys came over in the evening and we played Monopoly forever.  Sunday was another lazy day for me & hubby.  I did get up early thanks to our bird and got a few chores done but that was it.  Barely got in a shower.  It was a much needed rest.

I had a great weekend...although not relaxing.   The kids and I left here Fri at around 2pm.   We got to my sister's just in time for a yummy soup and salad supper.   We sat around Fri night visiting, playing games, and having a couple of drinks.   i never drink except when I'm with my sisters.   Sadie enjoyed being spoiled by her aunties for the weekend.   We stayed up till about 1am...big brother took Sadie to bed with him so I got a night all by myself yayyyyyyyyy.    Sat morning we all went out for breakfast and then headed for a 10 am haircut appt for Sadie.   She loved loved loved it.   She looks so much better now.   We headed to my other sister's house for a while to visit with her.   We then headed back for the baby shower.   Sadie was amazed when she got to feel the babies kick her.   Not sure she knew what to think.   My niece is due May 10th with twin girls.   After the shower was over and it was mostly just family left there the guys cam back.   My  sister went upstairs and came back telling my niece she had one more surprise for her....in walked my oldest nephew...he's been deployed to Iraq since Oct.   Wow were we all excited!   His unit was sent back home way early yayyyyyy!!!   He's home for good.   I enjoyed a long visit with him that night.   We hung out at my sister's playing games etc... again Sat night.   Yesterday we got up early and drove home.   I had a meeting at church last night.    Tonight we're going to write up our purchase agreement on the house.   I'm very excited but nervous all in one.  

Sadie did wonderful this weekend on the drive.   It takes us 3.5 hrs there and back.   We stopped once each way to go potty.   She was still dry when the drive was over both days.   She had no accidents at all this weekend at my sister's house.   I was sooo proud of her.   I really think we've pretty much mastered this potty thing.

Happy Afternoon, here...... It is the first of the month, and a Monday on top of that, so I am a busy bee here......

Sounds like everyone had a great weekend & that is just AWSOME!!!!!
Mine was good.  I took a nap both days.  I made that my priority.  And DH pitched in Sunday & took Hunter off my hands so I could "get a break"  And, I got chores done as well.
But, a feeling of accomplishment &&&&&& rest.  WOO HOO!!
