Thursday greetings

Well my Wednesday was pretty good.  Got a bunch done at work, came home, hubby fixed dinner, a friend came over & we just chilled & watched Idol.  Probably the same in store for today except we will have the girlies.  How was your day?  Have a great one today!!

My Wed was actually pretty good.   I'm finally starting to feel better.   Just hoping nobody else gets it now.   I worked, took a rest, picked hubby up from work and got him over to get his ID renewed finally.   We went to a soup and salad fundraiser at church for my son's trip to Tennessee this summer.   It was wonderful....we had about 15 different soups to choose from and a nice salad bar as well as some wonderful homemade breads.  They were only about $600 from what they need to cover the whole trip before last night's dinner.   Each dinner makes $200-$300 and we have another dinner to do in April.   We also have a pasty fundraiser next weekend.   They should easily have enough money to pay for everything.   It'll be nice to be done with the fundraisers.  We stopped at a store on the way home to get a giftbag and tissue paper.   We came home to watch a bit of Idol and relaxed.  Today is work and packing for the weekend.   The two kids and I are supposed to leave here tomorrow afternoon to head to visit my sisters for the weekend.   We have to get the oil changed in the car first though.   It's supposed to snow today.....we're supposed to get 3-5 inches but where my sisters live it's supposed to be a pretty big storm.   It should be fine by tomorrow afternoon though.   I'm really looking forward to being with my family.   Sadie is soooooo excited to go to see her aunties, uncles, and cousins.   She's the baby of the family but then I have nieces that have kids either a little older or close to her age.   She's called and talked to each of my 3 sisters on the phone a few times in the past week cuz she's excited to go see them .    My one sister has her own beauty shop and Sadie has an appt for a haircut and to get her hair done Sat morning.   She LOVES having her haircut so she'll really enjoy having Auntie Dixie do it.   My son got someone to work for him on Sunday so we can leisurely come home.   I'm sure he'll talk me into some kind of lunch on the way home.  I have a meeting at 7pm otherwise we are in no hurry to get back.   DH is staying home to go to some highschool hockey tournaments.    Yes, he's a huge sports freak!

My Wednesday was pretty good as well.
Tonight is the last time I have to call in for Jury Duty.... YEA!!!!!!!  That will be nice to have that over with.
