Happy Monday!

How are things?  Have a good weekend?  My weekend was pretty good.  Spent most of Saturday being lazy, just hanging at home reading a book which was nice.  Headed out Saturday evening for a daughter/mother dinner with my mom and then we headed to a candle party together.  Ended up bringing two of my nephews home for a sleepover.  Sunday was full of kids and fun, took my nephewsand the girlies out to breakfast and then took my nephews bowling.  Was pretty worn out afterwards (a reminder of why I enjoy having almost grown daughters) so I just did a chill/relax evening at home with my family.  So not ready for it to be Moday yet.  Nothing really planned today other than work.  We may go check out another house.  Still waiting for word on the one we put an offer on but we continue to look in case we find something we like better.  Have a great one!!

I hear ya Court...I'm sooo not ready for it to be Monday either.   We had a pretty busy weekend on top of me being sick still.   Uggg it's been over a week now and this cold just keeps hanging on.   Fri nite we went out for dinner then went and got our groceries and walart type shopping done.   Sat we stayed in most of the day....got some things done around the house.   Yesterday was church and then at 4pm we went on a sleighride for church.   Sadie had a blast!!   She loved the dogs they had out there for her to pet more than anything...the one dog chased the sleigh the whole way...very entertaining part for her.   She got off halfway around to make some snowangels.   We had a potluck dinner out at the sleighride place afterwards.    After we ate and the horses were cooled down they let Sadie and the other little girl with us feed the horses some carrots and let them sit up on the horses.   Oh how she loved that!!   We came home and just relaxed till bedtime then.   We were all pretty worn out and cold.   The temp was right around 10 degrees for the ride so we got pretty chilled.   We cooked hotdogs and marshmallows over the fire outside even.   We stopped at another open house yesterday too.....same price as the one we like....same approximate neighborhood.   All it did was make us like the other one more LOL.   We are hoping to hear something back from the bank this week.   Everything is in to them so it's all up to the underwriters now.   I believe we have all the paperwork on our end done and everything else ready.   We have decided if we get the word from the bank we're making an offer on it.   DH is planning on having lap band surgery in April or May so we were hoping to get the moving thing going so we can at least be in a new place before surgery.   He said he'll put it off a month or so if  we need to.    We have no plans for today other than work.   Hope you all have a great day!

I have to say that I really LOVE my house, and it is such a nice lot, with a great spacious garage & a shed.... and a workshop (woodworking) for my DH, so, he can keep most of the man-clutter out of the house/garage.  Compared ot the last house we lived in, this one has SO MUCH more storage to "hide" stuff, and keep it in it's place & I know where to find it!!!!!!  That was always SUCH a battle in our last house.

This last weekend, we all just stayed home.... we are all sick.  DH went to the clinic (he is worse-off) and he was give a weeks worth of antibiotics & cough syrup.  And also told to stay home, because he was contageous.  So, he will be heading back to work tomorrow.

On a good note, Hunter & I are still a little sick, but feeling better than we have been.
