Happy Halfway Day!
How are things in your world? My Tuesday was okay. Nothing spectacular, just work & then a quiet evening at home. I did make some reservations for a weekend getaway for hubby & me. I am really looking forward to that. Nothing really planned for my half way day. Work and then a few errands, perhaps a visit to check out soccer practice with the new team (youngest joined a travel team). We shall see what transpires. Hope you have a great one!!!!
Oh how fun Court...a weekend getaway is always nice. I wish we had one of those coming up but I'll just have to take the weekend away for my niece's baby shower with the kids in tow. Our Tues was pretty good...I worked then picked up DH. We grabbed some dinner on the run and headed off to our homebuyers class. 5pm to 9:30pm We learned a lot...I've boughten a house before but my DH has not so it was especially good for him to hear it all. We got our preapproval from the bank yesterday as well so we're getting more excited. Tonight we're going to look at 4 houses.........and there's one that just came on the market yesterday that we'd like to go check out. The stress and fun begins.
Our Tuesday went well. After work, we went out to eat... there was a 50's night... burger, fries & rootbeer float for $2.99 We were about 20 mintes early (it started at 5:00) but there were quite a few people there for it & when we lft the entry way was PACKED with people waiting to get a table & eat!!!!
Tonight we are going to bible study at church. I enjoy it, and it seems like DH works alot of Sundays, so it is nice for us to be able to go & do something with our church family.
We agot home this last Sturday, and so, on Sunday, we headed to church & had one of the ladies come up to us & say how much that they had missed seeing us at the Sunday services. I explained that my DH worked alot of Sundays, and that we had been attending the bible study on Wednesday evenings, and she told us that she did not drive in the dark, but it was nice for her to know that we were still trying to be involved. So, to me, that was truely nice that she cares.
Hunter is having bumps in the road with potty training, but that is expected.... He did AWSOME on vacation NO ACCIDENTS!!!! Now, we are getting back into routine here at home & he has had 3. We are working it. Still in a pull-up at night.
Have a good day, ladies!!!

Oh Jamie potty training can be soooo frustrating! I was sooo worried about training Sadie partly because she's sooo independent. Last Monday evening she told daddy she wanted to sit on her potty....he brought it into the living room (i know a big no no to some people) and sat there with her reading books etc... She actually peed....he made such a huge deal out of it she was so excited...he let her help him dump it, flush the toilet, and wash her hands. She's been wearing big girl panties ever since. Diapers are still on at bedtim and naptime but that's it. I've put a pull up on her when we've gone out but all but once it's still been dry when we come home. She actually is going potty when we're other places. I can't believe she did this all pretty much on her own. She now knows how to take the little pot out of the chair, dump it , flu**** and wash her own hands. She's even pooping on it and gets so excited to see it in there. LOL Who would've thought. We're going out of town in a few weeks and I'm dreading the setback.....hopefully she'll get right back into the swing of things when we get home. We'll be staying with my sister and she has a potty chair so maybe she'll be ok. It's the 3 1/2 hr drive that worries me. Good Luck...I hope he gets back into the routine and things are going more smooth soon!
