Happy Friday!

I've been out of work for 2 days now and I never call in sick.   It's been well over a yr since I have called in.   I'm feeling a bit better this morning but still not good at all.   My son woke up with it and is back in bed for the day.   Sadie had it a little over a week ago and my hubby has been battling it with me this week.  Hopefully it's done at our house so we'll all be healthy for Christmas.   I'm off wor****il Tues at least so I should be ready to go again by then.  We have a Christmas party we're supposed to go to tonight at our church for the leadership team which I am on.   If I'm feeling better we'll be heading there.   I hope I'm better tomorrow as it's my husband's grandpa's 93rd birthday tomorrow and we were planning on going to his party.  We have a lot of shopping to get done this weekend as well.   Also UMD Bulldogs play the championship game at 11 tomorrow so we'll be glued to the tv for that game.  Sunday am is church then at 3 pm is a Christmas program at church.   After that I really need to get my butt in the kitchen to do some baking.   Thankfully I can't eat it any more but I'm using it as an extra little something for a few people's gifts.   Monday on my day off I plan to do more baking, wrap gifts, and take Sadie to have lunch with daddy at work.   Wow I think I need a nap after just typing all that LOL!!

Michelle, you are a BUSY lady!!!  Holidays are always a good time of year, but always busier than usual as well!!!!!!!

We have the children's Christams party tonight here at work, so we will be seeing Santa, and playing games & having fun with my co-workers and their kids.
Tomorrow is the Palmer Colony Christmas The WHOLE town & shops get involved (actually, it is Fri-Sat-Sun) But tomorrow, the train comes right into downtown Palmer, at the depot.  I think the train only comes to town once or twice a year now, as technology & decades have kind of fazed it out from the downtown area.
So, anyways, we will be there to watch the train come in to the depot & I really think Hunter will be in AWWWWW of that!!!!!  It is going to be right in the middle of his naptime, but I am willing to give in and skip naptime for him being able seeing the train!!!!!!!

Sounds like a fun weekend indeed!   My work does nothing for Christmas but my hubby's does.  Next Tuesday is the kids' party for his work.   Santa Claus is flying in on the helicopter...the med copter.   As long as we get the gift dropped off with her name on it by 3pm Monday he'll have a gift to hand out to her as well.   I can't wait to see what she thinks when he comes in on the helicopter.

Very Cool, indeed!!!!!  How Awsome!!!!!!  I am jealous!!!!  Santa, in a helicopter!!!!  Only in a 2 year old boy's deams!!!!!  WOW!!!!!
