So, I have slowly started changing things when it comes to the bad food choices & lacking in the exercise department............  I have been cutting out the carbs this last couple of weeks, and when I am weak, and "sneak" something with carbs........ I REFUSE to think badly of myself for it.

I have also added more and more water, and some more liquid protein, not the food kind.  Instead of getting the "head hunger" I was snacking on carbs, I now substitue that with protein, like meat of some sort.  (sliced, or jerky).

I am slowly, but steadily changing my bad, bad carb eating ways!!!!  I am also doing more exercising....... I am SLOWLY doing all of this.

At first, I had to admit that I need to do something.... to admit to myself that I need to change....
I am so slow in admitting or acting!!!!!  But, I AM doing!!!!!

Great post Jamie!!   Let me know if you need some extra support because I'm right there with you.   I started a little over a week ago and lost 5 lbs.   I am trying not to eat bread, pasta, rice, crackers, cereal etc...   I have had a little here and there but have felt ok about the little I've had because it has been just that...a little!   I went shopping and bought lots of cheese because I love it and know I will snack on it instead of grabbing something bad for me.   I also got some yogurt and nuts.   I bought some deli meats too.   For lunch today I had 2 slices of deli ham and 2 slices of cheese.   My pouch has reset I do believe because jut eating that I felt very full.  Tonight for supper I had ground beef stirfry with just hamburger and veggies.   I did end up with a couple of andes mints tonight that hubby was eating but I had no bread, potatoes, pasta, rice, crax, or  cereal today.   I'm feeling good about it.   I have been exercising some but wish I could find time to do even more.   Even if I sneak a little I know it's much better than I was doing a couple of weeks ago.    Good luck and let me know how it's going!

Thank You, Michelle!!!!  I am trying, and now I am motivated.  So, we ALL know that motivation is the key thing!!!

One day at a time.  It is hard to eat sensible sometimes, and then I get in that carb rut..... It seems so much easier & quicker to eat the wrong things!!!  But, jerky & lunchmeat is just as quick... no preparation need for it!!!  Yes, a little more expensive, BUT I AM WORTH the price!!!!  I just need to keep that mindset.
