Tuesday Check In

Well, I slept until 8:30 this morning.   I haven't done that in a loooong time.   This eye treatment took it out of me sooo much.   It was much worse than the last one.  I started having a panick attack during the treatment.   It hurt way worse than last time...I can remember the last one being a bit annoying but not painful...that is while he was doing it.   This time it hurt and burned bad.  I came home and laid in the recliner all evening.  When I walked out of the Dr office I had a big scare...my eye was patched but I couldn't see anything but bright lights out of my other eye.   Thankfully my aunt drove me and was there to help me to the car.   I remembered that they dialated both eyes.   Whew it was just cuz of the dialation that I couldn't see.    My 18 yr old was here thankfully and helped a lot with Sadie.   She even bought pizza for everyone for supper.   Although I was in so much pain I couldn't keep mine down.  I slept off and on...had a hard time getting comfortable from the pain.   When I took tylenol it took the edge off the pain a bit and I was able to rest for a bit.   I finally was able to take the patch off at 10pm.   I took it off put a drop in...took my lunesta and was out for the night. I woke up this morning with my eye stuck shut from drainage.   Didn't have that last time either.   I put my drop in and looked in the mirror....OMG I look like Luke beat me up!!   It's bruised all the way across my whole upper eyelid.   I still hurt quite a bit too.   I"m supposed to be back to work tomorrow but I have a slight feeling that's not going to happen.  Not  a huge deal...I'm coverd under FMLA through tomorrow for this.   I have enough PTO to pay me for everything except like 2 hrs I think.  My sight is very very blurry.  Sadie and I are going to stay home today and take it easy.   She has kindermusik this afternoon but I think we'll miss it just this one time.   She has school tonight too but daddy can take her to that.   My 18 yr old daughter is here until about 11 so I have some help with her then hopefully she'll take a good nap after lunch till her brother gets home.    Sorry if this is misspelled or not written in full sentences I can barely see what I'm typing.

UUUGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!  I was hoping that this treatment would be gentle.  I hope that the worst pain is behind you and that you can heal up and be done.  And I am happy that your family is helping you out as well.

Take care!!!!!

It is snowing really, really hard right now.  It is the wet snow, the stuff for snowballs, snow angels, and snowmen!!!!!  It makes the driving difficult (which is part of my job).
It is raining in Anchorage (about 50-60 miles south of here).  So when the temperature drops, it will freeze into ice, which is dangerous, because people have not figured out yet, that winter is back & you need TO SLOW DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
