I know I've had elk & it tasted a little gamey. I've had moose & loved it! It was just made with some cream of mushroom soup & I think it was the best meat I've ever had. I don't think I've ever had deer, that I know of anyways. My step-dad liked to give us stuff & then tell us what it is. Like the chicken that was actually rabbit.
