Terrific Tuesday!!

Only 4 more work days then it is off to the beach. Had a pretty decent day yesterday. Had planned on hitting up my support group but had a teenage melt down at home & was needed there so I missed out. My family is desperately in need of this vacation & some time away. Today will jsut be work, got a 4 hour training this a.m., then the gym, then home for the evening. Hope you all have a great day!!!

Ended up only working a half day yesterday because my earache and headache got to me. I rested for the afternoon.....we took Sadie for a walk by the lake last night which was very nice. Tonight I'm supposed to do my walking group by the lake but it's supposed to rain so maybe we'll meet somewhere else..not sure yet. Other than that I need to get my bills pd and checkbook balanced tonight. I also should start packing for the weekend......Sadie and I are going with my best friend and her daughter to North Dakota Friday morning until Sunday. Sunday is my son's 16th birthday as well so hopefully we'll be home in time to spend a bit of time with him. Hope you get lots of rest and family time on vacation. I empathize with you on the teenage thing...it's never easy to deal with.

Morning, ladies!!!!! It got to the mid 40's overnight. So, we are in transisition to fall up here. Sorry about the teenage meltdown, that's gotta be hard, Court. Hope you are feeling better this morning, Michelle G. Hunter is only 2, so I still have some time, but parenting will definately be a challenge at any age!!! Not too much planned around our house. Got home yesterday and took Hunter for a ride on the 4-wheeler around the neighborhood. He sure is a good rider, and behaves himself, thankfully. Have a GREAT day!!!!!! -Jamie

Parenting is definitely a challenge. I am lucky in the fact that I had great parents & step parents so I have great role models to look up to. I have a good relationship with my stepdaughters so that helps too. I knew the oldest was headed for a meltdown, it has been coming for a few days. Well last night it hit. She has a tendency to hold all her emotions in until she explodes. We were able to sit & talk some of it through though so things were better after the explosion.
