YUP, You have read right............ TD already!!!! It has been, according to the newspaper, the coolest summer on record since 1948. It rained all day yesterday, and you could not see the mountains thru the clouds. Today, it is still cloudy, but you can see the mountains and there is a FRESH SNOW LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am just trying to remain positive & look foward to next summer, hee hee. Typically, in August, it cools off enough in the evening for an Alaskan to wear something a little warmer than a t-shirt. So, we are starting to say goodbye to summer as it winds it's way down, and hello to the beginnings of fall.

We've had a very cool summer here too. I was just asking my son yesterday if it was just me or if it really was a lot cooler. He agreed. I remember being so hot sitting in the sun watching him play softball and this yr I've had to bring a sweatshirt to almost every game. We've been trying to enjoy every nice day we have with fear it isn't going to last long.
