TGIF!!

Happy Friday ladies! My Thursday was good. Not to much on the plate for today or the weekend. Probably some pool time, perhaps a movie. We have the girlies so I am sure it won't be dull. Have a great one!!!

Oh I'm soooo glad it's Friday. I will have to work 2 hrs tomorrow but that's it. 1 more week of the mandatory 8 hrs of OT. I will be so happy when next week is over. We're supposed to go to the rodeo today but it's storming and cold here....not sure we'll drive the little over an hr and chance it. Tomorrow is the Taste of Greece festival here in town. My husband and I love to try lots of different ethnical foods so this is right up our alley. We went last yr and it was a blast. Lots of neat dances etc... I'm very stressed and or depressed today. My 18 yr old has thrown one of her fits again all because I told her to quit gossiping. She came home yesterday and packed her clothes told us she's moving out. She told me her dad said she could stay there until she could find something else....he later told me he didnt' say that and she can't stay there. I do know she was there last night but not sure what she's planning on doing. This isn't the first she's done this. I'm so torn about the whole deal....a little part of me wants to give in and call her tell her to just come back but there's also the part of me that knows she needs to learn some responsibility. She's refusing to do anything these days....won't finish her thank you's from graduation, won't register for school next month, won't do anything. She won't even make a phone call and schedule a dr appt she is 2 months late for. Her dad isn't helping make me feel any better either...he has been screaming at me saying it's all my fault etc... My husband told me to go ahead and put the rest of her stuff in boxes and tell her it's ready to go...maybe that'd wake her up. Sadie has been sleeping in our room since she was born because our house is so small....it'd be nice to have a room for her but on the other hand i don't want my other daughter to feel we are desserting her. Ok long enough rant...sorry guys. Have a great weekend!!

I think the rodeo would be fun but do understand the weather issues. The Greece festival does sound like a blast. As for your daughter, I was the same stubborn 18 year old & my mom let me go (& was waiting with open arms when I crashed & needed help). It was hard but lessons my stubborn mind needed to find out on it's own. Hope you get it all figured out.

Good Morning!!!! Raining here. Tomorrow we are going to a wedding reception. A son of someone Mark works with. And then, tomorrow evening, I have a hair appointment...... This is a "Big Deal" for me, I do not get hair cuts or color my hair only about once/twice a year...... I am just not a "girlie-girl".... I do wear eyeshadow & mascara & THAT'S IT!!!!! You sound like me. I am soooooo not a girly girl. If I even wear eye shadow and mascara everyone thinks I'm going to a big event LOL. I am usually sitting here in my lounge pants and tshirt or in todays case sweatshirt. We're in the process of looking for a new pastor for our new ministry at our church....how exciting.
