Interview Update
Hey Ladies! First I want to say thank you so much for those who said a prayer for me, sent positive vibes and did an Indian rain dance (my wonderful hubby offered to do this one for me.. LOL). The interview went so good. I don't think I've ever been in an interview where I was so relaxed and comfortable. Besides me there was the supervisor for the contracting company and 2 of the government guys. One of the govies (how we refer to the government guys) was the lead govie for that group. We all clicked really well and I have experience in all the areas they are looking for. He said that they were looking for someone with a Type A personality and someone who could take charge and keep them in line and on schedule. I told him he has met his match then. I have no problem give orders and cracking a whip when need be. lol It also helps that this type of business is such a small world and everyone knows everyone. He told me that they already got the scoop on me and know all about me. lol I told him I would be seeing him on the 28th and he just kind of looked at me with a puzzled look. So I told him I'll put my 2 weeks notice in this coming Monday so my start date with him will be the 28th. He started laughing and said 'So your saying you got the job.' and I said 'Of course'. He laughed and said Okay.... I'm hoping to know something before the end of the week. I'll keep you guys posted.
