Thursday Roll Call

Morning! I am at work ready for the day to be over & my weekend to start. Had a good evening, family dinner then off to my mom's for the kid swap, my sister left her little one with my mom & I gave my girlies to my sister so that they could go to Hershey Park today. got a chance to run around the yard with my niece and a couple of nephews chasing lightning bugs. Tonight will be some errands & getting ready for the weekend. So I had a wierd mommy moment yesterday. I was talking to my sister on the phone & I started giving her weird instructions on what the girlies like/dislike etc. It was so weird, like I was letting my little ones go away for the first time & needed to give all the little details so they would be okay. Now I would understand that if they were young but my girlies are 12 & 14, way old enough to be fine while gone. I just found it funny. Hope you all have a great day!!!

We'll be their mommies forever no matter how old they get. My 18 yr old just loves it when I do stupid stuff like that. I'm so there with you about being ready for this day to be done and my weekend to start. My sister must be too she's emailed me from her work email a few times already today. My husband is off today and he's supposed to be trying to get some things ready to go. Well, so far he hasn't gotten much of anything done. I hope you all have a fantastic 4th of July!! Oh yeah Sadie was soooo excited last night....the neighbors were lighting some small fountains....she was just laughing and yelling I seen it I seen it I seen it. I can't wait to see what she does with the big ones tomorrow night.

Lightning bugs would be SO COOL!!!! It stays light all summer here & by the time the darkness gets here, it is cold outside. That would be a blast!! Not too much going on here today, just getting ready for the busy weekend. It'll be good, but busy. I'll see you all on Monday. -Jamie

Good Afternoon Ladies! Court, I'm with you too on being ready for this day to be over with. I'm supposed to be getting off early so DH and I can go look at furniture before picking Sarah up. Dh called earlier and said that he was going to try and get off around 1:30 because he had to pick his one brother up from work and drop him off at his friends house for the weekend. He said he would call me when he was getting off that way I could wait about an hour and then head out and meet up with him. Well here it is 1:55 and I still haven't heard from him.... Grrrr I bet he left already and 'forgot' to call me. I can't even imagine how I'm going to be when Sarah gets that age. I'll probably be even worse and drive everyone insane. LOL I don't think you ever stop thinking of them as your babies. I'm the youngest in my family. I remember when I had Sarah my mom was in the delivery room with us (I'm a mommas girl and had to have her there with me.. LOL) and after I had her my mom told me 'I can't believe my baby has a baby now.' I was 31 at the time. I need to go now and hunt down DH. Hope everyone has a wonderful day! Hugs Teresa
