Well, I've had better days but I'll make it through. It's all mental nothing seriously wrong. Just very frustrated with my husband and older kids. Yesterday I gave my son 2 simple things to do....one being take some things out of the car from the weekend...not too difficult. The other was to finish up the trim on the neighbors lawn which he gets paid $30 to do.....should be very willing to do this since she's paying him. I had to send him out 3 times to finish the trim.....and the car NEVER got done...then he wanted me to drive him to his friends....NOT. My daughter graduated in June and still to this day has not sent in her college application nor called to make an appt to go up there. I told her yesterday if she doesn't get into school in the fall then she can start paying us rent or move out.....only way to get this kid motivated I think. Last night I told my son before he left for summer school this morning I needed him to take out the garbage so it's out before they come pick it up. Well, I just did that myself. My husband...well he's just plain lazy.....he did nothing yesterday. I was busy putting away groceries etc... and packing Sadie's bag for camping at the end of the week and he sat on his hind end on the couch. I asked 4 times for him to put Sadie to bed. Well I ended up putting her to bed when I went because he still hadnt' done it. I lost my voice last weekend and it's still pretty horse.........he never ever stops what he's watching on tv or listening to on the radio in the car to actually listen to what I'm saying or asking him. He then wants me to repeat it arggggggggg that's going to help my voice. I feel so unappreciated by him lately....I have been working 10 hr days and get no help around here. Yesterday this is what my day consisted of......5am wake up start work at 5:30...took a break from 9:30 to 11:30 to take care of Sadie. 11:30 to 5:30..work....then I cooked dinner.....left immediately with Sadie...went to argue about our cell phone bill, went to Shopko for a few things, went shopping at Sam's Club for camping stuff for this weekend....came home....changed Sadie's diaper and put on jammies.....packed her bag for the weekend, put away all the stuff from the stores....organized everything for church softball tonight.....then ended up putting Sadie to bed and dropped in myself at around 11pm. I was then again up at 5 am ready to do it all over again. I seriously get up at 5 am every day and run until I drop in bed at about 11pm. I told him this morning I'm running away. Of course it probably doesn't help that I'm probably going to start my period any day now LOL. Ok now I feel a bit better....thanks for the vent.

Oh I can't wait until we get to the lake...get the car unpacked and head down to the beach. I'm definitely going to relax one way or another. I'm packing my book too so hopefully I can sneak away and read to get some alone time. I figure maybe while Sadie is napping. Sounds like your housewarming is coming together. How exciting. I wish I had an icemaker....we'll probably spend a fortune on ice this weekend.

Michelle, you come here and vent any time you need to honey. That is what we are here for. I completely understand how you feel except I only have one child so I can't imagine what it would be like with teenagers plus a toddler. Honey, you deserve a vacation. Make sure you do take your book with you this weekend and sneak off to get some 'you' time. I don't think anyone ever realizes what all Mommies have to go through. I found myself calling my mom the other day and apologizing because I'm not finding out what she went through with my sister and I. She just laughed at me. LOL Hang in there and know we are here for you. Hugs Teresa

Morning!!! I haven't been as active on the board as I like but I am getting beat at work! I have been eating a bunch of crap and it has me feeling like yuk! Oh Ms Court I am so sorry to hear about the sunburn! I am fair skinned and will burn in the sun everytime so I can relate. The only time I can get a tan is from a tanning bed. Hope things get better Michelle! I have been there and it is a constant fight (both family and mental) It is supposed to be a gorgeous day so I think I will go home and grill chicken breast tonight with fresh corn on the cob YUMMY Have a great day JoAnn

Hey JoAnn, DH is grilling chicken for us tonight also. Sarah wakes up just about every morning asking for either pizza or chicken. The child is going to start growing feathers for how much chicken she eats... LOL When I tell her she can't have pizza or chicken for breakfast she then asks for toast. I have no idea where that has come from but she is now on this toast kick. I'm sorry your getting beat up at work. What is with these employees??? Why can't they just let us make our money and leave us alone. LOL We understand if you're not able to be as active as you would like. We are still here for you regardless how active your able to be. We do miss you when we don't hear from you but we completely understand. Hugs Teresa

Darn sunburn!! Hey, I am jealous!! Not alot of sun shining up here in Alaska this summer. Probably no sunburns up here to complain about. Oh well, maybe next summer. Just working here for the day. Getting ready slowly for the housewarming on Sunday. Picked up a few things last night & tonight, we just need to stop and get some plastic silverware and strong paper plates (nothing but the FINEST!!). It is SO NICE to have an icemaker, I emptied it out into a plastic bag last night, so it can make more, to fill the coolers up to keep the sodas cold!!!! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!! -Jamie

Hey Jamie, It really sucks that you guys haven't been able to enjoy the sun yet this summer. I'll try and get some bottled and mailed to you ASAP. That is so funny what you said about the plastic silverware & paper plates. Growing up we used paper plates a lot and mom always called it her 'fine china'... Now I'm making DH & Sarah eat off of them more. DH tried complaining about it one night and I told him that as soon as he starts cleaning the kitchen we could use what ever he wanted. He hasn't said a word about it since. LOL I can't wait until we get our new appliances. Our new frig has an icemaker and I'm beyond excited. I have to say that I'm more excited about my kitchen faucet... This new faucet I just picked out has a high-temperature limit stop that allows you to preset a comfortable maximum temperature to eliminate scalding and a temperature memory that enables water to be turned on/off at any temperature setting. I know I'm strange but I just fell in love with this faucet. (I really need a life) LOL Hugs Teresa

Hey Ladies, Hope everyone is having a wonderful day so far. Nothing exciting going on today. Just the same ole work drama... LOL This place is better then a soap opera.. Anyone else like these little Emoticons??? I'm dying to post or reply to a post using all of them... Now how crazy would that drive everyone??? LOL I sit here and look at them every time I post and figure out how I can incorporate them into my post. Hmmm???? I think the happy pills are kicking in... Anyway, back to the real world... Court, I'm so sorry to hear about your sunburn. Like JoAnn said, I'm fair skin also so if I even just look at the sun I look like a lobster. The only time I've actually had a nice tan was right before I got pregnant with Sarah and I was going to a tanning salon. Hope you start feeling better soon. Hope everyone has a wonderful evening with the family! Hugs Teresa
