FIL update
I posted some of this info this on the 17th.
The cancer doc took him off of all of his meds, all of them. His MRI came back basically negative. So, we are playing a "wait & see" game.
One of the newer meds we think, even the cancer doc, has taken the cancer out of his blood. So we were EXTRA concerned, that we would end up back at square one with cancer back in the blood. But, the doc said that medicine stays in his body 3-4 months. They had him scheduled for a bone marrow test (the cancer was found in his marrow & blood last April) but that is ALSO put on hold.
I spoke with Mark's mom yesterday when she called & his dad was going in for an EEG to get a test of his brain activity. I have been BUGGING Mark to call & see if they have some reults, but he has not called yet..... (as of lunch-time today)
So, until I know more, this is all I know...........

p.s. Yesterday, my sister came over and we hung pictures, and then hung more pictures!! I have just our bedroom and the spare room to get finished!!! YAY, me!!
I'm keeping your FIL in my prayers. I'm so glad to hear the MRI came back negative. I know you believe in the power of prayer so have faith and we'll keep the prayers coming.
I can't believe you have your house basically unpacked. Can you come to my house next??? LOL When I was in Charleston I bought a trailer and lived there for 3 years before moving here. When I moved up here I still had some boxes in my closet that still had not been unpacked. LOL Now we are getting ready to remodel our house. Getting a new kitchen, redoing the bathroom and putting hardwood floor down except the bedrooms. So right now we are packing everything up and moving out side to a POD. I HATE packing and unpacking. I told my DH with all this packing I feel like we should be moving to a new house. LOL I'm going to post before and after pictures as soon as everything gets going.
Keep us posted on your FIL.
Hugs

Thak You, I am glad I got to speak directly with Mark's mom, I can get the info I need, if I am the one on the phone, not Mark, ya, he's a MAN!!
You know, I cannot believe it myself!!! HEE HEE HEE HEE. I looked around, and I have 6 boxes in the bedroom---- clothes, that I just need to go thru, then 3 boxes in the garage, that I need to haul into the office (that is my WINTERTIME project)--probably 3/4 of the 5-6 boxes left in the office, I will SHRED!!!!
and 3 more boxes of "dog stuff" that I will keep or yard sale. Then a few pics, and I am completed!!!!
See, I will STILL have boxes too!! Don't feel bad!! I will get to them someday,,,,,,, maybe next year??
Have fun with your projects, even though it is a process, a stressful one at that, it is TRUELY the reward at the end that makes it all worth while!!
