Friday Roll Call

HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH!! I hope that everyone has a great weekend....Anyone have anything planned for their hubbys or dads? Yesterday was my FIL's birthday, we are going there on Sunday to give him a cake and celebrate Fathers Day..Its a tough one for me, its the 1st one without my dad...I can't even go to the cemetary, but I will start the tradition..I will buy a balloon and release it and wish him a Happy Fathers Day....I hope you all have a great weekend..AND REMEMBER-- TODAY IS THE DAY THE LORD HAS MADE, LET US REJOYCE AND BE GLAD IN IT!!! Morning Jen! Great balloon idea! My Dad is and always has been an over the road truck driver, I talked to him last weekend and so far not sure if he will be in for Sunday or not. He owns his own trucking company and couple of trucks and with the cost of diesl he is working for fuel so he just isn't able to drop the trailer and come home. If he doesn't make it for Sunday we'll grill and hang out with him when he does. For hubby I got him a motorcycle tire changer from the boys and I will be picking up pork spare ribs to grill for him (a mans mans grill out) and my brothers at my sisters this weekend. The guys wanted a manly menu of bbq spare ribs, western ribs, pulled pork bbq, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans and all the fixins. So my sisters and I will be busy cooking while they pitch horse shoes or something. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend I hope there will be lots of pics to share on Monday.

Good morning! Had a nervous evening...yet MORE tornadoes in our area! K-State got hit bad just the other day, like $20 million worth of damage. The sirens went off last night...there was a funnel cloud spotted not 6 miles from my house! I have lived her my whole life so I usually don't worry much, but I will admit I was scared there for a minute. Mallory seemed to think it was fun to play in the basement! LOL I have no idea about Father's Day. It will be whatever Keith wants. We are celebrating tomorrow, as he works on Sunday. It's gonna suck...not only is it Father's Day and my dad is gone, it is also his birthday!

I'm here waiting on the attorney to call back Sam has proven that he isn't wanting to work the marriage out and i refuse to let him harass me and call me the names he is and text me nasty things. So I am getting help from legal aide and going for full custody and because we all signed a lease then he kicked us out I am getting him for adultery for living with my best friend guess she isn't one of my friends after all. But it's ok.. I am going to do what is best for Nate he doesn't need to be in a bad environment and around someone thats mouth is a truckers mouth. Nate and I are doing ok.. I am not fighting a hernia in my incision and now am having to deal with sugar issue since they where given me insulin in the hospital mine keeps dropping to low cause i have been on liquid for over a month Anyways thats about it thanks for all your prayers and thanks to everyone for support may you all know it means a lot to me

Good morning everyone!! We've been up and out of the house since 7 garage saling. I got some good deals on cute short outfits for Sadie for next summer. I'm off to pick up the cake and last minute things for the big grad party tomorrow. My family will be in town tonight. I can't wait!! My one sister will not be here until tomorrow. I am keeping 2 of her girls for 2 weeks too....gonna spoil em rotten hehehehe. We have lots of fun stuff planned with them. We're going to hang out with my sister and her family at their campground for father's day and make fajitas. Should be a nice fun and relaxing day. The kids and I got a new patio set for Luke for father's day. It's been great sitting out on the deck eating dinner in the evenings. Sadie loves eating outsdie. We will also be going to church Sun morning. Jen, I love the balloon idea..both of my parents are gone...I just may steal that idea from you if you don't mind. I'm glad my whole family is here because it's always tough for me as I was my dad's baby girl and very close to him. We'll see my father in law tomorrow at the party.....we got him a notepad with Sadie's picture on every page. He has everything so it's hard to find him anything.

YAY TGIF!!!! I am off for the next 4 days. Next week daycare is closed, (they are allowed a vacation too....family-run daycare) so I am off Mon & Tues to take care of Hunter,,,,,, Mark has his inventory at work, so he cannot be home, as originally planned, back in JANUARY. Oh well, can't win 'em all. I will try & get stuff accomplished with the settling in on the homefront the next 4 days. My sister is going to come over on Tuesday and hang pictures, so that will be NICE!!!! (sorry, i am not equipped with 'decorating sense'... that is my mom and sister's department!!) Tomorrow is the parade that Hunter & I will be in, Hunter will be in the stroller, of course!! For Father's day, I got Mark a pair of Carhart pants to work in..... in his shop, and the following day is our anniversary, and I got him ANOTHER pair of Carhart pants!! We sent my FIL a DVD 'photo' album.... to keep all of the DVD's we send down to them. It is nice to just load it up on the computer & watch the slide show's!!!! I think he'll get a kick out of putting all the DVD's we have sent down to California since Hunter was born in that album IN ONE SPOT, for safe-keeping. EVERYONE HAVE A FUN-FILLED SAFE WEEKEND!!!!! -Jamie
