Toddler!!!!! Has anyone seen my baby? LOL!!! I haven't posted much about Gracie with the other things going on. But it's official...she IS A TODDLER!!!!! Last night...my niece was spending the night...THANK YOU, TIO CHUY!!!! Chuy told her she could and that he would run her back to my Mom in the morning..GUESS who then had to get THREE kids ready this morning...AND take her back???? BUT>>ANYWAY>>>>Nessa was playing with Gracie's little kitchen I got her off CL....she was sitting in front of it and Gracie sat behind her and started yanking her by her hair. WOW>>>>when did she get to be EVIL???????? THEN>>she started scratching her after I told her not to pull Nessa's hair. She ended up going in time out in the corner and she cried her eyes out. The other night, Chuy was pulling her out of the bath and she started going after his face like she was trying to fight him. Couldn't tell if she was trying to hit, scratch or pinch him....BUT>>>WHAT HAPPENED to my baby? The sitter said Gracie pinched her Grandson...but that her Grandson is a brat so she understood why. STILL>>I told Chuy to tell her not to let her get away with that stuff. Why is she getting so aggressive? Is it just testing us? I have never seen the kids over there be aggressive. And they live right across the street...see them all the time outside and coming to our door. According to the sitter...Gracie can do no wrong!!! AND>>>J went over there one day last week..the last day of school and I needed someone for 2 hours....J said that Gracie was SPOILED and she was either following Martina or Martina was holding her. I asked if she was spoiled and J said..uhhhhh..PRETTY MUCH!! LOL!!!! Gracie KNOWS in the morning when it's time to go to Martina's and says "ATINA'S". LOL!!!! This morning she woke up and was yelling from her crib...."A MAMMA" We showed her a picture last night of baby Levi and HOLY COW>>>She was kissing the picture and Chuy tried to get it back because she was slobbering all over it...SHE THREW A HISSY FIT!!!!!!!!!! What happened to my princess?

They grow so fast, don't they?? Keep up with the time-outs!!! YOU ARE BOSS!! My little TODDLER Hunter is going through the sreaming stage and the MINE stage!!! In addition to us just moving, he goes to daycare in the mornings and "unpacks" all of the toy bins!!!! (ya, dumps them ALL out on the floor!!) -Jamie

Sorry to say this but welcome to the wonderful Toddler years. LOL Sarah goes to daycare and there are about 10 - 12 other little ones in her class. To hear her teachers tell it, she only acts up when mommy shows up. They all think she is such a little angel. She has been going to the same daycare since she was 7 weeks old so all the teachers spoil her there. There are actually 3 little ones who have all been there together since they were between 6 - 7 weeks old and thats Sarah, Paige and DJ. Well those three have all the teacher wrapped around their little fingers. lol Like Jamie said, remember that you are the boss. She needs to learn that there are consequences for her actions both negative and positive. I actually have 2 toddlers at home, my husband and Sarah. They will sit on the couch together in the evenings and just pick at each other. I usually end up fussing at both of them and believe it or not I've had to separate them before.. LOL Hubby is the big push over and Sarah knows it. If he takes something away from her because she is being bad she knows she can have a total melt down and daddy will give it back to her. Hang in there! Make sure to cherish every moment even the ones that make you feel like pulling all your hair out because as you already know it goes by way to fast. Hugs Teresa
