Rough Day

So I didn't get a chance to post today because I have been running crazy since 6:30. Yesterday my hubby almost collapsed at work (he is a mailman), he went to the doctor & was diagnosed with dehydration/heat related issues, sent home for rest & gatorade. So we went last night to the get the girlies (he just couldn't stand the idea of missing his night with them) and this morning on his way to take them home for school it almost happened again & I had to go get him. Made him a doctor's appointment for this afternoon and off I went to the hospital because my mom was scheduled for surgery on an abnormal lymph node. After waiting to see mom & hear that the preliminary results were benign & she was okay, I left to take hubby to the doctor. After providing some more details to his dr. (hubby went by himself yesterday), the dr. thinks he has pnuemonia. He is home the rest of the week for rest & gatorade and has to go by the hospital for some IV antibiotics & fluids through Friday. Wow what a crazy day. I am finally getting a chance to sit & relax. I believe I will be hitting the bed early tonight.

Court, I'm so sorry that you had such a rough day and your husband is sick. I'm so glad he didn't pass out while taking the girls home. I'm also glad to hear your mom is okay. We will be sure to add your husband to our prayer list. Please keep us posted on how he is doing. Try and get some rest tonight. If there is anything we can do to help please don't hesitate to ask. Hugs Teresa

I hope you were able to get to bed early last night!! I am thankful that your mom's results are benign. Prayers of healing going out. I am also GLAD that your husband is OK, and even though it took 2 trips to the doc/ER, he has a diagnosis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell him to STAY IN BED!!!! If he overdoes it with pneumonia, they WILL hospitalize him!!!! (My grandfather paased away last spring from pneumonia related COPD... but Pneumonia none-the-less) Take CARE!!!! -Jamie
