Happy Happy Friday!!

Anyone have any big plans for this weekend? Jamie, is it this weekend that you guys are going camping? If so, be safe and have a blast! We don't have anything big planned. We are getting ready to get some work done on the inside of our house (bathroom floor, new kitchen cabinets, hardwood floors) we are going tomorrow to pick out our new cabinets for the kitchen and a new sofa and chair for the living room. Have a great weekend! Shopping sounds fun everything else sounds like a lot of work! The outcome is always nice to see though. No plans for the weekend that i am aware of. I think it is supposed to be in and/or near the 90's so I will be wet or indoors! I'm off on Monday type to ya Tuesday! JoAnn

Hey JoAnn, Yes, I'm looking forward to the shopping part but not the cleaning, packing and moving everything out of the house. I'm not as happy about all this being done as I probably should be. You see, our house is only 900sqft and with me, DH, Sarah and 2 cats it's driving me crazy. You can sit on the couch and see into every room in the house. We have been talking about building a new house on the back of our lot (we have a little over an acre) and DH can turn the current house into his game room. So when he told me that his brother was coming down to 'fix-up' our house I was a little upset because I feel like that money should go towards the new house. The issue with his brother doing the work is another story in its self. He lives in northern VA and has his own buisness remodeling houses but I don't want him doing ours (long story). Oh well at least I'll have new hardwood floors and the new living room set I've been wanting. The temp here is suppose to be in the mid to upper 90's with the heat index well over a 100. We are going to try and get all the shopping done early in the morning so we don't have to be out in the heat all day. Wow... I didn't realize this was going to turn into a book... Yes, we will be leaving tonight & coming back on Sunday night. Just in time for work on Monday!!! HEE HEE Going up to camp near Matanuska Glacier. It is so nice up there. About 1-1 1/2 hours from our house. I am looking foward to our reward!! -Jamie

Hey Jamie, Sounds like you guys are going to have a blast this weekend. Growing up we used to go camping every summer. One week out of the summer my sister and I would go on a camping trip with the youth group from church. Another week we would go to Miracle Mountain Ranch which is a Christian ranch on top of a mountain in PA (we lived in Ohio at the time). I loved it there. We got take horseback lessons, take care of farm animals, meet other kids from all over and just have a really good time. My sister and I used to have sooo much fun. I've only been camping once since we moved to Charleston SC and we moved there in 1988. I sooo miss it.... You guys be safe and have fun! Take lots of pictures for us since you figured out how to post them now. Hugs Teresa

We are having a big weekend. My oldest is graduating from high school tomorrow morning. Wow I can't believe she's graduating. Sadie is sick with a fever and diarrhea though so not sure what we'll do if she's still not well tomorrow. We're supposed to go for lunch after graduation but we'll see. Other than that it's cleaning and getting things organized for the big party next weekend. Have a good one! Michelle

Hey Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear that Sadie is sick. I hope she is feeling better for the big day tomorrow. Congratulations on your daughter graduating! I know you guys must be really proud of her. Is this the same daughter that was going to go into the Army when she graduated or do I have you confused with one of the other ladies here (it's not hard to confuse me these days..LOL) Make sure you take plenty of tissues because I'm sure the proud mommy in you is going to shed a few tears.
