Pictures of Sarah & DJ at the Petting Farm

Yesterday Sarah and I met DJ and Leslie at the petting farm. They had pony rides so Leslie and I decided to see how the kids would react. We figured as soon as they got on the pony and it started moving they would freak out. Well, to our surprise they loved the pony ride. Sarah had a melt down when she had to get off the pony so DJ could have his turn. After the pony ride we went over to the petting farm. Sarah had a blast feeding the goats but DJ wasn't too sure about them. One of the cows used his nose and pushed Sarah down and she thought that was the funniest thing ever. They had a good time visiting with all the goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, lamas, cows and bunnies. There were a few turkeys, roasters and bunnies running loose so of course Sarah thought it was her job to chase them. One big turkey didn't run from her so when she ran up to it and it just stood there Sarah turned and looked at me then back at the turkey. She didn't know what to do with it once she actually caught it. It was too funny. I've loaded pictures of our day on our website. Only a couple more weeks until DJ leaves. Our next stop is the zoo. Nothing major planned this week except spending as much time with Leslie and DJ. I know Sarah and DJ are going to be so lost with out each other but I'm also going to miss Leslie dearly. She is the first true friend out side of work that I've had since I moved up here in July 2004. I'm from Charleston SC where my parents, sister and friends still live. My DH is born and raised in Norfolk but I'm hoping one of these days to be able to move back home. Hope everyeone had a wonderful weekend and continues on to have a wonderful week. Ugh! work has picture trail bocked?! why picture trail I'll never know. Oh well I'll check them out at home tonight. Love the new avitar she is adorable. Though bitter sweet glad to hear you are enjoying your last few days together. You never know those 2 might meet again someday

How rude to block picture trail.. LOL I'm actually surprised I can access it from work. We can't even check personal email from work because they have all the sites blocked. The the last picture I posted from yesterday is of Sarah giving DJ a kiss. It is too cute. I'm sure 12 years from now I won't think it's cute any more. LOL We are going to keep in touch after they move and see each other as often as possible. At least Sarah has another buddy at school who she 'attached' to so hopefully that will help with not having DJ around all the time.
