Mother's Day plans anyone?

Just wondering what you're all doing for mother's day? We'll be going to church in the AM....we need to drop off a card and probably flowers to grandma Colleen from Sadie. Not sure if we'll get up to see my mother in law or not yet. We have a card for her as well and will get flowers or a plant for her as well. Sadie is lucky to have some adopted grandma's and aunties at the hospital my husband works at. She has gotten them each a card as well. Monday while we prepare to leave for vacation Sadie and I will go to the pizza place that grandma Pat works at to get lunch and bring her a card and angel pin we picked out. It'll be a surprise for grandma so that should be fun. Not sure what my husband has planned but I know he has something up his sleeve.

I am going to spend Mother's day with my husband and Hunter. I am sure we will have a nice day!! Maybe a little packing in there as well. HAVE AN AWSOME TRIP!!! -Jamie

If things keep going along, I'm hoping to make it to my mother's in Ohio tomorrow. Just took the car into the shop and am spending a good portion of the stimulus check so I hope it gets here tomorrow so I don't have to use the credit card. Then it's a couple of hours of work and a quick wisking of the kids into the car to leave. Saturday I'm getting my hair done thanks to mom and a really fancy brunch out on Sunday before we come home. So anyone saying a prayer tonight, add us in.

Sounds like a fun time. Well other than the car repairs. I'll be there with you though...ours is going in on Sat for some work. We don't know for sure if we'll get the stimulus check or not yet...we should have it tomorrow but my hubby owes back child support although he's current and making payments on it now...they can take it for that. Not sure if they'll take the whole thing or just his portion. We file our taxes with an innocent spouse form so I get my portion of our taxes back each year. We're just not counting on it for anythign so if it comes it'll be a bonus. Good luck and will keep you in my prayers.

My girlies will be with their mom this weekend so I won't really get to see them, not sure if hubby will remember to get something for me or maybe get something next weekend when we have the girlies. Our actual plans are church Sunday a.m. & then brunch with my mom. Since it is our kid free weekend, I am planning on doing some relaxing tomorrow, it is also the 6 month anniversary of our wedding so I am thinking perhaps we shall do something special tomorrow night to celebrate our first 6 months of marriage.
