House Update
So..... The selling of our house and the buying of the other has gone pretty smooth, but, wouldn't you know that Murphy Guy (Murphy's Law) poked his head into our situation.......
The house that we are buying has a detached workshop with a concerte floor and also a shed, with a wood floor. They came out to do the As-Built Survey. And we were informed about 6:00 Tuesday night that the shop was buit 4 feet into the easement (picture an invisible property line and on each side of it, there is a 10 foot easement). So the seller (poor guy) has to move the shop off of the easement. The borough WILL NOT GIVE IN!!! And unfortunately, this is the reality of his situation. The brough basically said "If there was another spot anywhere on that property that he could have put that shop, than that is where it should have been put there in the first place"
He is trying really hard to take it all in stride. Our closing date is not until May 22nd, so at least he has time to get the shop relocated. But what a MAJOR BUMMER!!!!
Mark & I & Hunter went over there last night to see if we could help, and plus, we wanted to meet him also. Him & his realator were there, and we had a nice visit. We asked him, if it would be possible to rent the house for a week or so prior to the close date, so we could have our house vacated for the new buyer of our old house & he was so nice & said, not a problem!!!!
I'll keep you all posted, but I really hope that this was the last bump in the road for us!!

That sucks not sure of how it all works but if it isn't causing any "trouble" why does it have to be moved? Oh well furnace passed and that was a much bigger expense that you would have had to deal with so I think you're still up by a couple by seller having to move workshop even though it still sucks lol That's cool he's gonna let you take possession before closing sounds to me besides the small rough patches everything is going swell for ya and you will be settling into your new home soon!
Unfortunately, the seller cannot get any money for the sale of his house, until the shop is moved off of the easement.
And I agree............ THAT SUCKS COMPLETELY!!!!! Mark & I are not requiring him to move the buildings (the shop & shed), that is completely out of our hands.... It would be the same situation if he had someone else for a buyer.
But, in the end, he will have money to finish his divorce and be able to move on with his life. And we will be in our new home!!!

YAY!!! How truely AWSOME for YOU!!!!!
I think things shall be alright!! It sounds like the guy is as eager to "BE DONE" as we are ready "TO MOVE.....FINALLY"
Did I mention that I started pre-packing the house up, last Feburary?? Yes, for over a year, we have had plans to get to this point!!
It is all worth it, in the end!!
