House Update

As you know, we listed our house on the 31st of March & accepted the full price offer on the 4th of April. The buyer had his home inspection done already & we got that back yesterday & WHAT A RELIEF it was to see that all is well & we will have everything fixed, and the furnace inspected probably by Monday/Tuesday!!!! We had been house hunting and had a "short list" we had it narrowed down to 4. We did a second walk thru of our short list on the 5th. Then we just had to decide which one to put an offer in on. The 8th, we put in an offer on the one that had everything we wanted, but there was another interested party too, so we had a multiple offer situation (can you say.... STRESS??!!) We GOT THE HOUSE!!!! YAY!!!! We should be signing on or before May 22nd.... That is Hunter's 2nd birthday!! This coming Wednesday, the 16th, we have our home inspection for the house we are moving into. Everything is just moving so swiftly, and SMOOTHLY.... just falling into place!!! Praise God!! -Jamie

Wow, lucky you. Sound like everything is moving along smoothly and you'll be enjoying the summer in your new home. What a birthday present for Hunter.

Awesome....strange to have everything move so quickly yet smoothly. Here's hoping everything keeps on that path. I signed on my first house on my son's 3rd birthday...what a gift!!

I am sooo happy for you guys! If you sign on Hunter's birthday you can tell him, as he grows up, that you bought him a house for his 2nd birthday. He will never be able to complain about not getting anything. LOL I honestly beleive that when things are meant to be everything will just fall into place so this was meant to be for you guys.
