It SNOWED this weekend!!

Our town got a little, but in "the big city" an hour away, got 6-8 inches of accumulation. There sure were alot of Alaskans saying.... see, told ya it would snow again!!! (we watched our neighbors change out their tires a few weeks back & just shook our heads) Our local police department had thier studded snow tires taken off of their vehicles too??!! Betcha there were NOT happy cops!!! slippin & slidin!!!! We are all hoping the sunny weather today stays & warms us all back up!!! -Jamie

Same thing happened here for us. Everyone put away shovels etc.... Our city got a small amount but just north of us got 20 inches. We got mostly freezing rain and slush LOL. Sadie's daycare lady sent her snowsuit home with me last Fri...I told her she was jinxing us. We're supposed to have this stuff most of the week I think YUCK!!

YUCK!!!! I agree!! It is just hard for me to believe that anyone who has spent ANY amount of time in this state would try to fool themselves that it wouldn't snow in April!! DUH!! Did you bring Sadie's snowsuit back to your daycare lady?? At least I know that May is around the corner & then June!! -Jamie
