Your best travel tip please
What is your best "traveling with kids" travel tip?
So, it looks like I may be taking an airplane trip with my kids by myself. I do just about everything with the kids in tow so wrangling them is nothing new. Today I went to lunch with 5 kiddos, a four year old, two three year olds a two year old and an 8 month old. My kids are realitively well behaved and usually travel great on the plane . However, I have never done it by myself. I have a quad stroller so I can make it to the gate, I can do curbside check in for the luggage and such. So that part is covered. I am not sure how to keep them entertained (we will not be in the same bank of seats as there will be 5 of us) and not bored. I plan to take the magnetic dolls, magna doodles, lots of food and drinks. What else could I do?
God Bless!

No we do not have one but that is a great idea. My kids do no****ch much TV during the day but the love to watch it. I think that will be a good distraction for them. I am going to go buy one. I just looked and they have a ton on WalMart.com. Do you have one? What do you have? Any recommendations?

My 18 yr old has one. We use it when we are on car trips....now that Sadie is here it's a good distraction. It's like a special treat in the car...we don't let her watch much tv at home so it's an extra special thing in the car and keeps her happy for quite some time. We just bought the cheap one from Walmart...especially since it's not used very often....if you won't use it a lot I would think a cheap one would be good. You may want to check and see how long the charged battery will last though so it'll make it for at least one move etc... We have the car adapter too but that won't help much on the plane. Hope the trip goes well for you.
