Funny potty story
Our Emily has always been suprisingly challenging us, her doctor and daycare by being ahead of the game in everything. Crawling early, walking early, talking early, and now at 25 months has pretty much decided to take potty training into her own hands.
And, she wants nothing to do with the fancy little potty chair we got her for Christmas; she used that a few times but prefers the big potty.
So, we were at Menards Sunday (it's a home improvement type store, in case they aren't all around the US). There was a toilet on display at the end of the isle. So, who starts ripping her clothes saying "gots to go potty. Poopie, mommy. gots to go potty"? Uh, yeah.
It's even more funny to see, because she's just a little bit of a thing--still just 22 lbs. She barely looks old enough to be walking, let alone talking and wanting to use a potty.
Any other good potty training stories to share?
That is too cute! My youngest was easy to potty train and was pretty early because he was always "nekkid"! He would not keep clothes on no matter what I did. He would run around the house in nothing but his cowboy boots and a glove lol. He wasn't even tall enough to reach the toliet standing up so he would stand on the tops of our feet. When he was old enough and started preschool I was told when I picked him up one afternoon that Malik had been in time out for peeing behind a tree! I could not stop laughing! If I could of course I would have given her a piece of my mind because even though it wasn't appropriate he was discret (SP) about it and didn't pee in his clothes! He was just being a boy and it was something we would have prolly at-a-boy'd him for at home (not having an accident that is)
We have been potty training Eli for about 3 months now, getting better everyday..He has no problems peeing on the potty, but poop is a different story....For whatever reason he just wouldnt do it...Well, we were in Wal-Mart and we were down the toilet paper isle and he starts yelling, toilet paper, toilet paper, i said yeah Eli that is toilet paper, he says no momma, I NEED TOILET PAPER! I said what for, he says cause i have to take a poop momma, real loud!! Johnny and I laughed so hard, so Johnny ran him to the bathroom, he comes out and hes yelling thru the store, Im a cool dude, I went poop!! Everyone that heard him started clapping!! I hope my Emi is that easy LOL

OH how funny all the stories are. Well Janielyn is almost 5 months so reading ya'lls stories is for sure preparing me. lol lol Although she will let u know the second she pees in her diaper. She can NOT stand it being on. And of course you can smell and hear her a mile away when she poops. Lets just say she was grunting sooooooooo loud in church Sunday as she was taking a dump that I had to get up and leave church. It was quit obvious what she was doing. lol lol lol lol The dr says that is good that she lets us know so early that she should train pretty easily on the potty.

I love these stories. I'm hoping Sadie is as easy as Emily!! Our daycare seems to think she'll be trained this summer so before she's 2. Sadie's always been a bit advanced as well....I just filled out a form the other day that asked all kinds of questions about what they can do at what ages. She's 16 1/2 months....she could do all of the 15 months, all of the 18 months...and the only thing on the 24 month one she couldn't do was jump. 24 months said can she say and understand 50 words........I laughed so loud...she talks up a storm. Even the ped is amazed at her vocabulary. I can so see you in Menards at the potties!!! hehehe ...thanks for the laugh.
