baby pillow question

How old should/can a child be when it is safe to give them a pillow? What kind do you suggest? -Donna

I don't know what age they should be, but mine were about 1 1/2 when they started sleeping w/a pillow. You just have to make sure they can move freely and won't get stuck between the bed and wall. Mine also started out w/what looked like a half pillow. Kind of like the cough pillows they give you in the hosp. after abdominal surgery. But my 2 1/2 year old now sleeps on a full size pillow and uses the half one for travel. Change in never easy, use your best judgement, you know your kids better than anyone. Kristina
