Happy HUMP Day

YAY!!!! When our work day is over, we will be on the downhill-slide!!!! This time next week I will either still be here filling-in, or I will be back at home with Hunter. The gal I am filling-in for has her doctor appointment Monday or Tuesday. So, if the doc says that her knee is ready, I will be at home again, looking for work. But, if the doc says, nope, we need more time & another possible surgery, I will happily be staying here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!! (that is the LAMEST part of this job!! Having to leave!!======she will quit or retire eventually!!) It is warmer here this morning. 6 above, and it started to snow pretty hard, so I know it is in the double digits!!!! Last week it was a wind advisory & wind chill temps up to 40 below!!!!!!!!!!!! What a difference 60 degrees makes!! -Jamie

BBBRRRR!!! We actually got up to 68 degrees yesterday and it was beautiful! Of course I was stuck in this office all day with no window, ugh! Oh well, then I can't see what I am missing right? LOL I hope she doesn't come back, which sounds awful but you know what I mean. Is she even close to retirement? Tomorrow is my Friday and I am counting down the minutes, it has been a VERY long week. If it was going to wrong, it did. I'm working an extra day this week too, on Saturday. I'll have to be away from Dylan but the overtime is nice and I need a break from my 12 year old & his attitude! Ya, I know what you mean about her not coming back. Here in this company, people are retiring at 54, 55....... ages like that. She is 53. And because of her situation, She started here in construction, making twice the pay, and since she has been here she is only getting 1/2 of the income she is uased to. She has been in this position for 4 years. But Anyways...... Glad you will get some overtime & a break from the 12 year old!!!! HA HA I know what you mean about missing your baby though!! Up here, this time of the year, we are usually in the 30's to 40's during the afternoons. We are lucky if we are hitting 10 above in the afternoons!! Hope your friday is here before ya know it!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Jamie
