Sick Baby!!!!
Hi there. Hunter has a gastrointestinal virus. Yesterday, he was not holding anything down. Mark was off of work, so he took him in to see the doctor. The doctor said to give him sips of pedialyte to see if he could hold that down, the slowly increase that. This morning, we gave Hunter 5 ounces of grape flavored pedialyte and that was still down in his tummy and part of a banana too when I left for work. Also, the doctor said if he was holding down the pedialyte, to give him a BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast). So, since I have the next 3 days off, I hope that he is back to normal.
This is the first time Hunter has been sick. He will be 9 months next week.
Other than a sick baby we are all doing well.

Sorry to hear Hunter is so sick. It's so hard to watch them suffer. Hopefully he's doing better now. It'll be nice that you're off the next 3 days to be with him. My daughter at that BRAT diet more often than not in her first 2 yrs and it usually helped a lot.
Things are going well here too for now. I'm just glad it's Friday.

Im sorry to hear Hunter is sick, but glad he seems to be doing a little better. That's great he has made it 9 months without getting anything!! I hate when they are sick & so little, it's hard they can't tell you exactly what's bugging them.
My little one, Dylan, had the stomach flu 2 weeks ago. Thank goodness it was only 24 hours, but every feeding was coming back up full force & he was miserable. He had just turned 2 months old.
My first day back at work was Tuesday since having him, it sucked. It's really hard being away from our little ones for so long after spending a few months with them. I couldn't wait to pick him up from daycare, get home & just spend the evening cuddling & gazing into each others eyes.
