Good Morning Mommys, I have a couple questions.. Mallory will be 4 months old on Friday.. WOW! When did your children roll over and when did they get their first tooth? Mallory is drooling a ton and EVERYTHING goes straight to her mouth but no signs of teeth yet. She can hold herself up (sitting) if I steady her on my lap and sometimes by herself but only if I prop her up first. She just wont roll for anything! lol. Thanks, Beckie Mommy to Mallory, 10/09/06

GOOD morning!!!! Hunter got his bottom 2 teeth a week after he was 5 months....but he seemed to DROOL forever before that!!! He is now 8 1/2 months & just finished popping out his 2nd set (the top 2) yesterday!!!! He has been rolling good for about 2 months & is just now this last 10 days sitting up with no one behind him, he cannot sit up from a laying position yet, but I can sit him down on the floor & feel comforatable walking away. He will sit 10 to 15 minutes at a time!!!! As for crawling.....not yet, but at daycare there is a baby girl (she has a toddler for an older brother) who is crawling everywhere. Hunter & her will play & when she wants to go.....she goes & Hunter just CRIES out of frustration, so I think he will be working on that army crawl VERY SOON!!!!! -Jamie

Hi Jamie.. Thanks for the info.. Mallory seems like rolling is the LAST thing she wants to do. LOL. She would rather lay on her back and play with the blanket and scream at it as she has recently found her voice. Thanks again! Beckie

Beckie, Sadie is about 3 wks behind Mallory but sounds like she's on the same path. Sadie still will not hold a rattle or anything though she does bat at things. Her fists are always in her mouth and she drools constantly. She's wayyyy far from rolling over I don't see it happening by 4 months either. She has never liked her tummy much though so she doesn't spend as much time on it as she probably should. We try but you can only let her fuss about it for so long. Is Mallory eating cereal or anything yet? Just curious...we've given Sadie cereal a few times now and she loves it. Hopefully someone will chime in who has a baby that is older and can give us ideas. Mallory has her check up/shots appointment next thursday and that is when they will tell me to start on cereal. She also hates to be on her belly for any length of time. But she will lay there and her legs are going 90 miles per hour and I swear, she will start crawling any minute... lol. She holds things without a problem.. she can no put her pacifier in her mouth by herself (with me handing it to her). I have a duck that legs and wings are teething rings and she started grasping with that and holding on. She also has a teething rope.. (loop of plastic bead like things) and she held that without a problem. Try something like that with Sadie so she can get the idea and the hang of it. Beckie
