Happy HUMP Day & Update
Hello there!!!! I hope that your week has been going well!!
I have had the furnace guy over to my other house, and everything was cleaned, and looked at. The condensation unit pump was relaced & now works, luckily it was a cheap part ($60.00) it took him all of 5-10 minutes for that part of things, so, not too bad!!!
The pump for the jacuzzi bathtub was tested yesterday & DOES NOT WORK!!! Darn!! Oh well, we have a new one coming in 2 or 3 days, and then we can get it installed too. Then all the repairs will be done on my part, we are still waiting on other things, like the apprasial report, so at least I will not be holding up the sale and signing of the house!! YAY!! That's good!!
I was also called yesterday to go back to work and fill-in for about 2 weeks at the phone company, so, it was a BUSY afternoon/evening getting a daycare interviewed!! We had the names of 4, from a state referral service, but we had not interviewed anyone yet!! AHHHHHHH!!
And, it has not quit snowing here in like 3-4 days too!!!!
Hope the rest of your week goes smoothly into a nice, relaxing weekend.

Yayyyy it's Wed. That means I have tonight off. I don't envy you looking for daycare. I'm so happy we found the one we have. She's wonderful with Sadie. We pay $26.90 a day for a full day or if it's less than 5 hrs it's $2.69 an hour. Snow what's that? We still have none on the ground here. Oh well I'm not complaining really except for it's going to be a really dry spring.
Not much going on here till the weekend. Hubby is dieting and it's helping me stay on track. 2 1/2 weeks ago I was at the Dr office and weighed 236...today at worked I stepped on the scale and weighed 210. That's 26 lbs....of course along in that time I stopped the nursing and lost a lot there I'm sure and got my first period since having Sadie and my hubby says I probably lost 10 lbs in fluid there LOL. I don't care how I lost it. I"m 2 lbs lighter than the first time I went in to the OB. I was so worried I wouldn't lose it.
Well, gonna go watch some tv with the kids.
Michelle
OH yeah Sadie update...she'll be 3 months on Sat and is 12 lbs and 23 1/4" long.
Hello!
I usually lurk on the pregnancy board, but sometimes look here too. Thought I would pop in & say hello! I had my 2nd son Dylan on December 4th. My 1st son is 12 years old.
I wish you the best of luck with your house, sounds like things are coming along well!!
I too am in the process of looking for daycare in a hurry, I'm due to go back Feb. 19th & they want me back sooner if possible. Our orginal plan of a friend's mom watching fell through, she changed her mind. YIKES! I used our county's referral service & they came back with 4 that fit our needs. 1 is not excepting kids right now, which from talking to her on the phone I wouldn't have even given her a chance. Another is not available until 4pm, left a message for one & the other I have an interview with tomorrow but she charges $35 a DAY! We only need daycare for 4 hours a day, my husband works a swing shift. I'm hoping in talking to her that when I say the hours again she will say "Oh well, here's a new price". It's been awhile & my first son was never in daycare this young, but I can't believe that price!
Have a great rest of the week!

Wow that price is unbelievable. Maybe you'll find one that will only charge an hourly rate for part time. Our daycare does but she requires a minimum of 25 hrs a week...but heck that's even better than $35 a day. I stressed so hard about the daycare issue and heck the perfect one came along just as I thought I'd never find anyone I could trust. We also had everything set up and it fell through at the last minute. It's not fun!!!
Michelle
Well good news! In talking with her she will charge an hourly late up to 5 hours, and it's $5 an hour. So that would make it $20 a day, now she's talking my language! I stayed for quite awhile & I was very comforatable with her. I'm still going to interview at least 2 more before making a decision, but so far so good!
And you're right it's not fun! I wish I could just take him to work with me! He could dispatch with me... now if my boss would just go for it...
Lisa
Hey guys!
I just want to say you are all tooooo lucky with your CHEAP daycare! It costs me 276.80 a WEEK for Dylan (1) and Shayla after school (5). That is way high. But, I do know they are well taken care of, fed and loved. They don't mind going there and so I feel better. However, I cannot wait until Shayla is in 6th grade and doesn't need before and after care anymore! hehehehe
Hugs ladies, have a great week!
