A 1st cold & suggest safety items
We survived... Last Sunday Aiden whined all night and wanted me to hold him-neither one of us slept sunday or monday night. Been a first time mom I toke A to his doc fearing that his cold was more than a simple cold Childrens Cold & CoughTylenol helped alot. Yesterday he started feeling much better & even better this morning. He raced/crawled all over the house this morning. He crawls so fast that he pants. its so cute and funny.
Oh and he is trying hard to walk. he can stand up himself up by holding on to things. This weekend I have to make a trip to Lowes to buy some items to make the house baby friendly.
Any suggestions? Here are some of my concerns. I have exposed speaker wires running along my base boards. I have to get plug in safety things. I have one floor/great room so i dont need gates. I have tile in my bathrooms and kitchens and I worry abt sneaking in one of those rooms and hitting his head on the hard tile- any safety items out there for tile.
Oh and has anyone tried out one of the swiffer vacuum/mop all in one thing. i need something that is quick and easy to help me keep the floors clean.
Angel-
I know it is only a matter of time for when Hunter gets sick!! Oh how I am dreading that!
I have one of those swiffer sweep & vac & I LLOOVVEE it!! I have an inside dog & cat, so it helps out tremendously with the hair & stuff on the floor! I do not have a swiffer mop, so I cannot help you there. But, soon enough I will need to baby proof, & lemme tell ya, WHAT A JOB!! OK, maybe I am exaggerating, but maybe not!
Glad to know Aiden is feeling better!!

Is the swiffer sweep all dry or does is vacuum and mop at same time? i thought it did both vacuum and mop at same time. Either way it sounds very handy.
btw- this board is way too slow. before you said you where thinking of going back to the preg board. i think i am going to go back to it.. hours and days goes by and no activity at all. its just too slow.
