So miserable...feel guilty

So last night out of the blue i started to feel like i was getting sick, sore throat, ear ache, etc. I have a fever and my dh says i am burning up but all night long i shivered...with a double fleece blanket AND our comforter. I shivered so much my back is quite achey. I feel bad cause Nathan wants to love on me but i dont want him to get sick too, he wants to wrestle and play and i am soooooooooooooo wiped. Now i am sweating like a pig just sitting here...with the overhead fan blowing on me. WTH. When i woke up the back of my throat is swollen and red with that white crap on it. Dont have tonsils...unless they grow back. gonna go post on the pregnant board about what i should do for ayriana....just wanted to check out this board too. Allison

Allison- Sorry to hear you're feeling miserable. GO SEE THE DOCTOR!!!! Sounds like tonsilitis. I've gotten it zillions of times and I had my tonsils out when I was 5... it still gets us! Feel better soon -Janine PS... Tonsils DO grow back on some people. My mothers are the size of gumballs and she had them out in her early teens. Mine are still gone!

Wow, okay, never heard they grow back or that you could get tonsilitis if you don't have tonsils. Sounds like it could be strep or an ear and throat infection. Do go to the doctor, if you haven't already!! Khaki Kyan 07/14/05 EDD Twins 04/15/05

that sucks. i hope you get better. I agree with J go see your doc. i know easier said than done but dont feel bad abt not loving Nathan. If your sick and contagious(sp) you dont want to pass it.

Geeze!! I hope you fel better soon! I had a really BAD virus years ago, and since it was a virus, it just had to run it's course, no one around me got sick (thankfully). But I was sweating one minute, and FREEZING the next (middle of summer & I had the car heater on full blast & was chattering my teeth). I had to try to drink lots of fluidsand take tylenol. Since I did not have any children, I would crawl into bed under my electric blanket and hope for some sleep. This lasted about 7 days. M-I-S-E-R-Y I hope you feel BETTER SOON!!! -Jamie & Hunter
